It's true Sid hasn't decided anything yet, but I think today's episode kinda give out some hints that Sid might have accepted this relationship already..

He didn't urgue when Somoresh said Sid had already lost the challenge instead he questioned him on what basis he's taking Mithai's service coz she's not his employee!!

Only a family member with whom you have a relationship n you accept the relationship wholeheartedly can give you such free services..

Sid used to yell at Mithai earlier if she would have done anything for him.. After he accepted Mithai is Barir Bou, he started accepting things she used to do for him like kosho kosho cha n kaalo coffee, but there was a formality.. And nowadays sob kichu direct cholche..

But it's not the same with Somoresh.. If he doesn't accept Mithai as DiL, he doesn't have any right to ask for her free service.. And Sid made it clear..

On a serious note, IMO, when Mithai will leave he'll be so freaking hurt, like double of the pain Mithai's going through, because :

1. He doesn't know what he's feeling, so there are zero chances that he'll understand the reason behind the pain and that will leave him confused.
2. He doesn't believe in love and marriage so experiencing heartbreak without having someone to share 'what he's feeling, why he's feeling' with (note that he's still an introvert) is going to be hella hard for him.

But this is totally my opinion 😆

While there has been a lot of deliberation about Sid and his thoughts and behaviour, my train of thought today has been slightly different. At the risk of sounding completely outrageous, I'm going to say that I think Mithai is only partially vocal about her self-respect. 🤡

When Sid says something to her, yes, she does speak up for herself. But why is it that when Som or Somoresh, or even Tess for that matter, exploit her and in the same breath insult her, she has nothing to say?☢️

I understand Somoresh is a "gurujon" and you must respect him, by virtue of societal norms. But to what extent? How can you stay quiet when you know you are being used and abused? And what about Som and Tess? Som has not left one chance to belittle Mithai, but somehow I seem to have missed all dialogues (if any😡) that Mit has said in rebuttal. And absolutely the same applies to Tess. I only see Mit run behind Tess saying "didimoni didmoni". 🤢

If you value your self-respect, without being rude or disrespectful you can definitely stand up. The question is, how much does she value her self-respect?❓

I totally agree with you Mishti.

In boro babu's case as you said she is quiet due to so called Society's rule. And if you remember after her marriage days When Somresh insulted her she was going to say her point but Pishi stopped her. . And about Tess If you remember she used to give it back to her before marriage and now she expects Sid to answer back. But the Didimoni part is really irritating . Why the hell she needs to care about that Witch 😡

@bold: Yes I know she does tell "didimoni" some things even now, but that comes with a caveat. "Amar ar didimonir ki tulona hoi, ami kothai didimoni kothai". NO Mithai! This is not self respect. You don't belittle yourself that way.

Red - Couldn't agree more.. Even Sid has pointed it out the other day - joto ego sudhu amar belay, Tess er insults gulo toh gaay lagena.. Same applies to Som too, even if we leave BoroBabu out coz he's Gurujon..

You know Mishti I was watching some old episodes of Mithai that I had missed earlier.. Mithai never left a chance to reply back Tess had she passed any type of insulting comments.. Even on the wedding day she hadn't just sushed up Tess but Reboti too.. But she lost her self respect after that 😣

I don't know how but she did change after marriage.. which I don't know how but you will see this change happen with Every sanskari bahu of ITV.
