I feel, at this point of time, Zain is immature and he doesn't understand the consequences. He usually doesn't think first, yet does it directly and regrets it later. This is a trait I've found in Zain.
Also, Aliya has gotten used to it, and she did declare he can do anything so Zain is taking drastic measures but she isn't as affected because Zain has already done this with her.
As the time goes on, he might soften up because Aliya isn't going to strong hearted throughout and will break down, like she did today. I did feel sorry for her to be frank because it wasn't her fault. Ifeel they will slowly mature the characters and are taking it slow but that's just my point of view :)

Thanks for the reply, Ananya. I agree, he is that way. But it's sort of getting to me, how he deals with her. It's true indeed, that he needs time. I hope he feels the same way someday, as he makes Aaliya feel today. And I like that Aaliya is all strong, but I wouldn't mind, nor be surprised, if they show her breakdown sometime around. She should infact, being a human & Zain should catch her crying. (Don't wish to compare, but can't help bringing this up :P..the scene in IPK, where Khushi breaks down in the shop, while shopping for Lavanya, was beautifully picturised. Arnav sees that & feels bad). I hope Zain gets to see a similar sight, before feeding his enthusiasm to keep hurting her, inorder to prove a point.
Or let him have his way, have her break down & then realise, what did he really get out of it. That he only ended up feeling bad causing her pain.

Yeah, that's true. I'm not up for any extremes, be it males in a show proving the females a point, or the other way around. But this is important, for Zain to learn, that Aaliya is a gem & it's only & only his loss, if he's gonna think, he'll have fun hurting her. If they're gonna show a track as such in the future, I'm all up for it :) But they need to show it in a way, not where Aaliya is typically just angry with Zain & he comes behind to patofy her, but they need show it in a way, wherein Aaliya's character is hurted & pained because of Zain & has given up on him & that's when Zain realises & does anything to have her, give him another chance. Thanks for your views, Bumblebee ! :)

True. Lol
Actually that dialogue isn't as bad, if he uses it on the right people. If someone who is an actual enemy, provoking him & stuff. But wah beta Zain, even if one teaches the guy saying from Quran, Bible or Ramayan, he's completely capable of applying it, in all the wrong places, on all the wrong people & in all in the wrong ways.😕😆
Thanks for replying! :)

Aaliyah is a strong her she can put up with most of it like she is doing

Yes, I agree. Aaliya is a strong character, but just because she is strong, I don't want Zain to keep testing her to the limit. This is a romantic show, the CVs hopefully don't forget that. It's not a show that has just one protagonist & completely revolves around the girl & her struggles. No, it's both Zain & Aaliya's story. So they better not keep burdening her or stuffing her, with all problems, just inorder to show how strong she is. Ho gaya, CVs. We got it. And I'm pretty sure, that even Zain's gotten it up by now, that Aaliya is a force to be reckoned with. They should now seriously start altering Zain's character, slowly. Thanks for sharing your pov, Shiiya!

I don't feel bad for aliya because in true terms she's sherni. She counter attacks all of zain's plans. She is strong. Though she feels bad but she definitely doesn't act like an abla naari and is headstrong to face all the challenges. Kudos to her character!!👏

Zain's a charmer and so one can't help to fall for his flirting. Alya falls too, only to realise that zain is just fooling around everytime. 😆

Zain and alya's relationship shud evolve slowly. If zain matures suddenly then all the fun element of the show will b gone. It wud b much more nice if he slowly and steadily realises alya's importance without loosing his fun loving, naughty nature!

Hi Mik, thanks for replying. My problem is not with Zain not evolving or maturing overnight, or Aaliya having to fight back all the time. My problem, is only the extent to which Zain wishes to go to hurt her or to seek fun, from the look on her face. That was downright immature. A classy war, a dignified battle is cool with me. But Zain obviously is gonna go the "everything is fair in love & war" kinda way. I get it. But, if the CVs are indeed going to show that, they better also formulate and prepare tracks as strong wherein, they show him being utterly passionate about getting Aaliya back or redeeming himself & winning her heart. Because the quote is cool, but it isn't really nice to literally endorse a guy making fun of a girl on Indian tv, because she cannot wear hot dresses or try to scare her, in the name of something like a suhaagraat., which is otherwise, not the best thing to be used, in such a context.
Yes, I hope they show him maturing. Gradually be it, like you say. But, until then, I hope they don't show him as insensitive towards her.

I felt for Aliya, but not for reasons you state.
He hates her and she knows that. Aliya wasn't expecting Zain to get ahead with it either. Being his wife, she couldn't refuse, but in her heart, she doesn't want Zain this way either.
If she wants to have any relationship at all with Zain then it is from an honest heart, not for the sake of a custom or that they were pushed towards a honeymoon suite forcefully.
Aliya did end up hurt and i felt for her strongly because she is married, but how. I think she cried (tears or not, her heart did) more for herself in that moment than at what Zain said. He just like their first night, asked her to wake up. I found it a notch up but very similar to their first night.

If Zain wants to get rid of Aliya he obviously has to say stuff that pushes her away. We should be happy Zain isn't that brutal egoistic arrogant male lead.. 🤔

As for the Precap, he hardly cares if someone makes him sweet or not on his first day... even if he gets to know Aliya made it for him...he hardly cares. Aliya wanted it to be this way, to make it for him and Suraiyyah to feed him. That's exactly what she got. Precap was powerful. Aliya-Suraiyyah at their best.

The Zain we are looking for will come shining out. Zain has all these traits, to love, to be concerned, be possessive, be caring..but for those emotions to come to the fore, his heart has to beat for Aliya..

Firstly Thanks for making such a post. Its very rare these days to actually find a thread with the right amount of constructive criticism. I am glad you made one.

It's not just today's episode that I found Zain being shown immature and insensitive to Aliya. I would like to vent some of them in this post. So this might get a big long.

Starting from this week. I still don't understand what Zain was trying to accomplish by making his friends' girlfriends tease Aliya, speaking in Marathi. It seemed very silly to me. Was it an act of jealousy because she seemed to mingle with his friends more? Or that she adapted with them so soon? But lets just say, we can ignore that since it was not so very serious.

Even though their chemistry was awesome, I personally felt the dance moves were not right. I didnot want them to dance after the blouse rip. It should have happened after the dance. Him pinning it up later also would have looked good. And the dance moves itself, it seemed a little cruel towards Aliya. The way he caressed her face, why should he do that when clearly she is so angry with him? She is trying so hard to make the marriage work. One minute he caresses her, next minute pushes her away and insults her. The rest of the moves were good enough. but it was like playing with Aliya's vulnerable feelings. Wouldnt anyone be confused, one sec you are trying to insult me, in the next you rip my blouse, next you dance with me, then you touch me like you want to, then you push me away,...why so much contradictions?

Zain's dialogues about his room and her having no rights in there has become so repetitive. He is not a 5yr old to be grumpy about it all the time. Clearly she has established her fortress in the same room. Accept it and move on...Do whatever it is you wanna do next. And to top that he calls her immature as well.

And like you said, in today's episode. I understand why Aliya was trying to talk to her mother. Even though Zain was all macho about scaring her, she was actually gonna go into the intimacy willingly. Every girl questions her mother about it, or their mother talk to their daughters about it. She wanted to be a little courageous and prepared for what Zain had in mind. Because all said and done, she is the one struggling to keep the marriage and its vows intact. And deep down even though she is very hurt and upset by Zain, she sees him as her husband and she accept him because she wants to. And Zain's making it such a light matter, not appreciated.

I actually loved the fact she openly shared it with Osman. How she wants to make things work, how Zain is never willing to cooperate even a little. I understand why Aliya gets a little dazed when he gets close. She is a girl, and she accepts this situation more readily. He is her husband in the true sense for her.

Zain has so many shades to him. Inspite of listening to Suraiyya's manipulation, he has his own opinions in most matters. His telling his mom to not get involved and talk to phuphi about things happening here, his supporting aliya about the torn blouse, his marrying aliya on his dad's words. His hooking up Aliya's blouse, no big drama there. He simply tells her to stay put and hooks it up. There is so much potential to his character. I wish they explore those roles more, rather than showing him being grumpy and sulking about everything Aliya does.

PS: Phew! I am no way bashing Zain's character or faulting everything, but sometimes, I wish they could make him a character where in people dont point out his flaws more than his positives. Right now, his immature acts are over shadowing his other character aspects. I am sorry, I hope no one is offended by my post.

I hope so too. Hope to see him becoming a little more sensitive from now on. I really didn't much appreciate, what I saw tonight.😕 Lol Sometimes I feel Aaliya should fall first for him, sometimes I feel Zain should.
But, now I seriously feel he should fall first for her, cause she might only end up being hurt again, if she does first. (atleast for a brief while) I wish they show some track, wherein these two atleast agree to become friends, if not anything. That way a little respect is established for the other person. Meanwhile, they could have their eyelocks & share of falling & catching lol Thanks for your reply! :)
