I agree with all of it Sunshine. I found that dialogue, quite distasteful & cheap, otherwise, I agree that Zain's character growth, needs to be slow & sensible. I'm only hoping that Aaliya doesn't continue putting up with it, but they actually show her getting affected by all of it, after a point. So that Zain starts getting affected by Aaliya's plight. The one, he keeps causing her. The saturation point for Aaliya, would come as a simultaneous breakthrough point in their relationship, which is currently, purely one-sided. I wish that doesn't come across as Aaliya angered & turned away, but a more emotional Aaliya, who is rather hurt & gives up on him. That should hopefully strike him.Yep, I want him to fall first as well. Aaliya would only be hurt, if she does rather.

She so obviously was not comfortable and didn't want this, but he kept pursuing it. And what he said after he pulled away when she was slightly accepting his advances was a total jerk move and extremely inconsiderate.

I don't care if they're technically married, if someone doesn't want such advances, it's a no. and to insult her like that? When she was convincing herself to be okay with a situation she was obviously not comfortable with, you go and insult her? That wasn't cool Zain. I agree with your post. I do hope he becomes a bit more considerate towards Aaliya.

One thing i have to say though is that he's not completely insensitive towards her. He did after all protect her at the party.

Yes, he did protect her in the party. That is kind of what, surprises me. One time, he protects her from the embarrassment and the next, he insults and embarrasses her, himself. He switches personalities, so soon & so unexpectedly. The shift is not really gradual or smooth here. It is rough, which doesn't really register or process smoothly with a normal viewer. He wants her to be safe from the public eye, but perhaps feels, that if anyone was to have fun at her expense, it should be just him. That isn't a very good approach either. So they can carry on with a smooth transition for Zain, but if the transition is to happen smoothly, then it makes no sense everytime that he steps forward to help her. It's like, there are two facets to his personality or something, that keep switching to the fore, every now & then, suddenly.

That is very true, Taniya. Aaliya is emotional & Zain isn't. He's more on the rational end as of now, which is good. But that stops him from realising, that some of the things which he says is indeed distasteful & can heart someone, who is a more emotional person. Well, since Aaliya is used to Zain, so she's overlooking things & trying to make herself comfortable with the way he is. But, not sure how long will this go on for. It's a completely one-sided effort as of now, but someday, it should hit Zain, right in the heart & he should start becoming, genuinely responsive towards her. Yes, you're right. There needs to be a growth in him & that can be slow & sensible. I just hope he stops such silly antics, or even if he does continue them, Aaliya should be shown getting affected by it, instead of putting up with it, so Zain realises, that he can get distasteful as times.
