He hates her and she knows that. Aliya wasn't expecting Zain to get ahead with it either. Being his wife, she couldn't refuse, but in her heart, she doesn't want Zain this way either.
If she wants to have any relationship at all with Zain then it is from an honest heart, not for the sake of a custom or that they were pushed towards a honeymoon suite forcefully.
Aliya did end up hurt and i felt for her strongly because she is married, but how. I think she cried (tears or not, her heart did) more for herself in that moment than at what Zain said. He just like their first night, asked her to wake up. I found it a notch up but very similar to their first night.

If Zain wants to get rid of Aliya he obviously has to say stuff that pushes her away. We should be happy Zain isn't that brutal egoistic arrogant male lead.. 🤔
Hi5 there! Even I am so very glad Zain is not one of the manhandling, pushing, pulling, arrogant lead. It was such a relief for me. He still handles her tenderly, no matter how angry.

As for the Precap, he hardly cares if someone makes him sweet or not on his first day... even if he gets to know Aliya made it for him...he hardly cares. Aliya wanted it to be this way, to make it for him and Suraiyyah to feed him. That's exactly what she got. Precap was powerful. Aliya-Suraiyyah at their best.
Actually, even I liked the precap. I liked that even with Suraiyya trying to undermine Aliya with very hurtful words, her first impression of Aliya was secretly an admiration. Even during the cooking scene, she was impressed that Aliya reads her book, but she just does not wanna like Aliya at all. Purposefully trying to dislike her. Unlike many Saas-Bahu word war, I actually enjoy these 2.

The Zain we are looking for will come shining out. Zain has all these traits, to love, to be concerned, be possessive, be caring..but for those emotions to come to the fore, his heart has to beat for Aliya..
I am waiting for this so much. I read in a post in the forum. If Zain can react so strongly when he is not in love with her now, imagining him when he actually does love her? How much stronger will be his emotions towards her? And I am sure, all this wait when his heart does start beating for her, will be worth it. I just wish his immaturity is toned down in the dialogues.

@nandini27
Nandini, I'm not sure about anyone else. But I for one, definitely agree with every word & I'm not offended. When the whole blouse rip & dance episodes happened, I remember, I hadn't come up with a single post in regard to any of that, except for the WU, because like you said, I was as confused & dazed about what was going on. I quite honestly, felt a strong urge to, make a post chiding Zain's attempt to get Aaliya insulted by his Marathi friends, but then again, resisted. Thought, let it be, it's supposed to be a good episode. He might redeem himself later after the blouse rip thing.
But then again, the dance steps like you said. I'm all up for a ZaYa dance, but he dances with her right after what just happened & like you mentioned, the steps screamed to me in a way, that he was trying to take advantage of the situation, wherein a poor & helpless Aaliya had to do nothing, but cooperate. I agree, his intentions weren't bad, but it didn't make any sense to me. Where was the logic ? Her blouse got ripped, he could've just covered her back, with her sari's pallu & walked her off to a corner or covered that area with his arm, as if talking to her & led her away. But no, he had to push & pull, lift and twirl her, before he fixed the problem admist, all the embarrassment & fright she would've faced meanwhile. Well, the room dialogues and the "tumhara koi haq nahi hai" ones, seriously..the CVs should help Zain get done with those. He ain't that small a kid.
I feel bad, to be ranting this way. I don't want to, again. But, I hope the Creatives, if they ever check the forum & come across this post, get this message loud & clear, that they need to make Zain look a bit more sensible & sensitive. I don't know if it has to be an overnight change or not, it needn't. But pranks like this & such amount of immaturity is not exactly gonna do well with the audience, after a while. There are many shades to Zain, but he's also quite contradictory, at times. They need to discover & make his character a bit more clear and meticulously sketched, for the better.
Thank you for sharing your pov !

I hope they avoid such lines in future...Being a Guy myself dint like wat Zain said to Aaliya...

Nyways Lets see wat happens next week...!!

I know, Akash. I'm otherwise a fan of the dialogues they use in this show.
But that one, was just a tad bit too harsh. Rather, it was brash.

@unnati: I am very glad you felt the same. I think you have termed and expressed my disappointments much better than how I did. I can only say "DITTO" to your response. Even I refrained from posting in the forum after the dance episode. it just dint feel right.

But at the end of it, it's all in the hands of the CVs. They have amazing actors, amazing characters, a very good opportunity to show so much. I would like them to make use of it and give us the best. Especially Zain's maturity and growth as a character.

Thank you so much for responding back. I had doubts anyone reading my post will only think I am being pessimistic and trying to assassinate the characters, because I am a very optimistic person and only want the best in what I enjoy or watch. It makes me happy there are some who can see my POV as well.

wat he did today was hurtful n stupid...
n wat he said about moo nai lagaata was also so below the belt..

but i think... he wanted to just make her tense but he himself got lost in the moment somewhere...

and i completely understand tat it left aliya in an awkward situation!

but i think they should show the change slowly...

@ black -
It was. And that concerned me. Not only, was that something hurtful, directed towards a girl, but as a viewer, it could be misinterpreted & generalised for a boy, to say something like that to a girl, who might not necessarily be of his calibre or status. That's a wrong message, sent out.
Apart from that, like you said, it was way below the belt. Especially, for a character who is shown to have received his higher education from the UK. I understand, he's the kind who'd have gone there, for every other purpose but to study. But I'm sure, he stayed there atleast for a year or two. And that's well the land of etiquettes and mannerisms. So, all of this & the current portrayal of Zain, is only showing him in a negative light. Although there is positivity within him, but such scenes or dialogues can override the same.

Lol. I don't know if I've told this before Nandini, but I certainly look forward for your responses. It's always nice to hear your povs :D So no, you weren't being negative. I'm a lot proud of this forum & the members tonight, for the way they've received the post. It's really nice to see, when people can respond so well to constructive criticisms. BI forum, is one of the best places in I-F so far.
We all love Harshad & Preetika for the efforts they put in. For the darlings they are. So humble, graceful & thankful to their fans. So it's really nice if, if people do voice out, when they feel bad about something in the show. It's even nicer, when it's responded to as maturely. All the BI-ians are lovely. This only help us, give Harshika & the team, the right feedback, so that their efforts aren't wasted. I'm glad you responded with your pov as well :)

what you're saying dear,I can totally understand, and probably sooner or later tables will turn and what we're expecting out of Zain will definitely show..abhi i think its not the time,at least that's what CVs want to portray..out of the two Aliya is seen to be more sensible and mature if you see what I mean, and all the time you see Zain taunting her to be immature..so what I want to say is..its only about time the situation will turn and zain would reflect on what all he did and probably go out of the way to undo all the damage/hurt he caused to aliya...at the same time I don't want him to take a one way road until its too late..

PS: also I did feel horribly bad when he just shoved her off, harshly ..that too after leaving her off high and dry..imagine how she must've felt..to take a girl to that emotional level and then drop her off the cliff was very hurtful for viewers (for me a little too, cause I somewhere knew she'd fight back and be strong,as that's how she's been shown till now),imagine how Aliya must've gathered herself..that's why Im sure Aliya will definitely be shown to take a similar kind of revenge..not only to equal scores or anything, but to make zain realize how horribly hurt it makes one feel..
