Zain was just trying to act cool, only to have been laughed at.
He couldn't sit through that now could he, and the moment he stood up, that action in itself spoke for him, when he stood up immediately he looked like the one with power over her, as he started telling her that he hadn't even done anything, this was innocent.
And Aliya backfired with calling him a Complaints and Planning Machine ! Admitting that she should have never come.
Zain taken aback had to retort, he wasn't going to let her win and he tells her as to why he got her to the party.
And Aliya stood shattered. Sorry tou main kehne wala nahin. Something so casual for Zain, yet so hurting to Aliya. He didn't realize, for him it was his casual teasing and poking, which he had done since childhood, but to Aliya it was not.
And she cried out to him as to how disgusting he was.
Disgusting, the word woke his senses, as he stopped and looked at her, to actually see that he had hurt her.
That it wasn't a light hearted banter which he loved to have with her, that his words had landed straight to her heart.
As he ran after her to apologize, only to make another mistake. Giving her another wound.
Thankfully the makers dont leave us there.
