Also just because he chose purva over smriti as his love doesnt make him a bad person.
I disagree with you becasue I've noticed that purva was his best friend and someone who he need in his life too since she was there for him whenever he needed someone. Smriti wasnt there. His love for purva ran deeper. Purva help him and define who he is. They have a lot of things in common such as responsbities for their family , they 're strong people with their own passion, support the truth and their marriage was different. ,because it about two people who came together without excepting one another to be their ideal parnter and respected each other while smriti was alive but did not share any relationship beside friendship until she died and time passed. They became closer and gradually love each other. Mihir and Purva shared equality in their marriage which is important, since most people lack that
And just because he found out about smriti doesnt mean his feeling for purva should change otherwise that wouldnt be realistic. He had changed so much had when he lost smriti, in a way he is not the same person when he was with smriti.
Also it is a show they cant actually wait for a year and then start the series to show that time passed, you're suppose to image that time passed more than just few months when he with purva.
At least he respect smriti and her opinions and recongnise that he need to support her too that better than him dismissing her. 😊
