A few hours later, the couple reached the bottom of the waterfall. They looked at each other the same way they did at their first meeting. Their eyes locked as they tried to stay afloat in the current.
"Thank God we made it!' Divya exclaimed as she shivered.
Amar noticed she was struggling and grabbed her by the shoulders. He started looking for a shore. He could feel Divya's skin growing colder and her face paler.
"Divya hold onto to me. I won't let you go," he insisted.
She nodded meekly.
"Yes I know," she stammered.
Amar began to pray to Shiv Shankar.
"Please once more help us get through this trouble. We have waited so long to figure things out. We have to get out of here!" he thought to himself.
Suddenly a boat was coming towards them, and then a helicopter. Amar and Divya hid behind a huge boulder to escape detection. Then they sighed with relief. Rajeev was in the boat.
"Beta, Bharat is in the helicopter. We need to get you two to a hospital. Give me your hands. We are here to help," he stated.
Amar helped Divya get on the boat first and then he hopped on. The rescue workers covered them in blankets.
Amar glanced at Divya with concern.
"Uncle I am worried about Divya. She is getting weaker. She was strong, because of her we both made it alive," he stated gravely.
"Divya theek ho jaye gayi," Rajeev assured him.
In the meantime he wondered how they could catch Sindoora. After Amar and Divya recovered, they would need to etch another plan in order to really fool Sindoora Pratap Singh once and for all.
After two days, Amar felt better, Divya would be taken off oxygen therapy today.
The doctor and nurse arrived in the room. Amar stood up from his chair beside her bed.
He said a silent prayer as they removed the equipment. Divya sighed and was soon breathing freely. The nurse checked her vitals including her oxygen levels. She was up to 98%.
"This is good Amar, she is doing much better now," they assured him. Amar thanked them and sat down beside her again as they left the room.
Divya turned to meet his eyes. She grabbed his hand.
"Have you remembered anything?" she inquired.
Amar nodded.
"I was just waiting for you to wake up. You gave us a scare. There is something else I found out before you woke up," he stated.
She gave him a curious look.
Amar sighed.
"I was switched at birth with Samrat," he stated.
Divya looked back at him in surprise.
