Part Eleven
For two weeks, Amar and Divya led a carefree life. Amar found work at a travel agency and Divya worked in a lawyer's office.
Then suddenly Divya began to have nightmares again. She told Amar to come back early on Sunday so they could go to the mandir.
She went to get rice and rajma from the market. She felt as if she was being followed.
Whenever she turned, everyone else seemed to be doing their own business. No one seemed to minding her any attention. She shook her head and walked towards the cottage she shared with Amar.
Amar was delighted to see her. They decided to go to the mandir, and when they got back they would cook a meal for themselves.
They went to the mandir and prayed.
" Bhagwanji, humari raksha karma," Divya prayed.
Amar glanced at Divya before saying his prayers.
"Shiv Shankar, Divya is very scared these days, please help her fear melt away. I just want her to be happy. Hopefully we can get married after everything is resolved," he prayed.
Meanwhile outside, cars approached. Some goons had spotted Divya and called Sindoora. Rajeev and Bharat were hot on their heels, hoping they could protect Amar and Divya.
Amar and Divya rang the bell one more time before leaving the mandir. When they turned around they were surprised to see strangers awaiting them.
They exchanged astonished looks. Who could they be? Had Divya's dream come true?
Then Sindoora came forward. Her stern glance indicated she was not a happy character today. Chandra joined her.
"You have caused me a lot of trouble. You two thought because my son came back I would forget to have your steps watched. However I always had my eye on you two.
You came back to haunt me. I want you two gone from this world," she stated.
She was about to give the order to shoot at them when someone gave in front of Amar and Divya.
Sindoora and Chandra looked at the person in shock.
" Sindoora Pratap Singh you cannot hurt them before you really kill me. This time I will not let them go easily," the person declared.
" Yeh Kaun hai, Divyaji?," he inquired.
Divya turned solemn.
" I have seen him before. He must be our angel," she stated in wonderment.
