thanks to all of you who supported me through my earlier fics. It's a one-shot unless you all want more.
Divya went to the Shivji temple the morning of the wedding. She prayed and bends down to take blessings, when suddenly a piece of paper flew towards her.
It was signed with Amar's name. She unfolded the rest and began to read.
She gazed at it shocked.
" Amar to sirf mere liye aaya tha," she stated numbly.
She thanked Shivji for this sign. She hurried to Singh Mansion.
She banged on Samrat's door.
Divya stormed in, Samrat was surprised to see her this frantic.
" Kya hua Diva?," he inquired.
" Main tum se shaadi nahin kar sakti," she blurted.
Sindoora stood outside of the room stunned.
Divya left a shocked Samrat. For a moment he was too shocked, but then gained his senses and started to run after her.
" Samrat make sure you stop her!," Sindoora hissed.
He nodded meekly.
" Jee Badi Mom," he stated.
He reached Divya's room.
She was packing her bags. She didn't even look at him. This got him angry.
" You can't just leave me like this. We are getting married today!," he declared.
Divya shook her head.
" You are indespicable. Kamna just told me what you did with her. I hate you. I am leaving," she stated.
She grabbed her bag and Samrat grabbed her wrist.
Kamna came in and slapped him. Samrat pushed her and she fell.
Divya rushed to her side.
" Samrat, how could you! She's pregnant!," she yelled.
Kamna winced.
" Divya just run. You have to make to Beneras before Amar does. Go!," Kamna yelled.
Divya stumbled back and grabbed her bag and ran from there.
She ran with mixed emotions.
Fear for Kamna and happiness that she could be with Amar again.
Amar wandered around Delhi for a few hours before boarding the train back to Beneras.
He reached home when it was late evening. His family greeted him at the door.
" Dada Divyaji nahin ayi?," Chintu asked.
Amar looked down at the floor. He couldn't tell Divya how he felt. He had left with confidence and his parents' blessings. Now he returned with nothing but disapointment.
" Amar dekho kaun aaya hai," his mother said.
His parents and brother came outside. Behind them, Amar saw someone he never expected to see here again. She was here.
