Part Seven

Ankiet rushed over to Divya's side.
She was breathing. The young man on the other end seemed concerned for Divya but didn't reply when he called him Sagar. He wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him. He had been though so much because of his one big mistake. It was staying married to Sindoora after he found out her truth. He should have left the house with Bharat once he knew, It would have been better if he approached exposing her from the outside, instead of getting trapped in her web many years before.

Now if this was Vidya and the guy on the phone was Sagar, things could improve for them all if only they bothered to listen to him. Last time he couldn't save them. Hopefully this time he could help they survive.

The ambulance had arrived. They escorted him into the back along with the stretcher with Divya.

Upon reaching the hospital, Ankiet saw a tapori dressed guy pacing nearby. He definitely could pass for Sagar despite the dressing sense was completely different.
His eyes widened and he came towards Ankiet as the stretcher came in.

"Are you the guy I talked to on the phone? Kya hua aap dono ke saath?," he inquired.

" Sindoora's goons came after me. She came to find me. You two need to leave as soon as possible. They can find you two here," Ankiet stated gravely.

A nurse interrupted them.

" Kya aap dono se unka naam de sakte hain? We need to write every entry in the registrar," she explained.

Amar took the pen and wrote the name down quickly.

Ankiet wrote down his name. He then noticed what Amar wrote: Vidya Sagar Pratap Singh.

He looked for Amar but did not see him or Divya anywhere. A nurse took him to get checked out.

Two hours later..

Divya woke up with a wrist cast on her left arm with Chintu sitting in a chair beside her bed. She tried to get up, but she did so too quickly.

" Relax Madamji. Hum dono theek hai," he assured her.
She looked at him slightly relieved.

" Leken tumari Dada kahaan hai?"
She feared somehow both had ended up in heaven.
Chintu frowned. Didn't she know his surgery was successful? He got up slowly and walked towards the door.

" Dada yahaan aao na. Madamji ko hosh aygaya hai," he called out.

Divya started praying. She hoped they both weren't dead. Why was Chintu in denial?

Then she opened her eyes and blinked a few times. Amar was right there before her eyes.

Part Eight

Suddenly she had flashes of several people surrounding her bedside. Sagar came in calmly. In the next moment he was calling her stupid and telling her not to do that again.

She snapped out of it as Amar came closer.

" Dobara aisi mat karma. Maa both narz hogi muhje se. Main tumhe bach nahin saka," he mumbled.

She smiled slightly.

" It wasn't your fault. By the way there was a guy in the auto with me. Who theek hain na?," she inquired.

Amar nodded. Ankiet came into the room. He had suffered a few scratches but other than that he was fine.

" Thank goodness yeh theek hai," he stated.

" You two are probably wondering who Sagar and Vidya are. However all I can tell you is that those were you identies from your previous janam. Right now you two need to leave. Sindoora's goons can get here any time. I have discovered a staff nurse is working for Sindoora. She just came on duty. I will try to find you later to explain more. Please hurry and go before she causes any harm to you," Ankiet warned.

Amar helped Divya get up and grabbed Chintu.

" Theek hai, hum sub jare hain. Leken aap ko sun kuch ek din jaldi batana padega," he said as he led them outside.

Ankiet promised he would do his best before helping them sneak out of the hospital.

They reached the hotel, where they made an instant decision to go back to Beneras for the time being as Chintu's safety was first priority. Chintu wanted to hang around and find out more himself.

" Nahin Chintu. Agar hum dono ko kuch hogaya tho, tumhe Maa aur Babuji ko salmana hai," he said firmly.

They turned emotional for a moment but Divya broke the silence.

" Jaldo chalo, otherwise we'll miss the train!," she urged.

The three of them hurried into a taxi with their things.

Meanwhile the nurse went to check on Divya to see if she was awake. She was shocked to see the room empty. She dialed the number.

" Sindooraji, haan woh gaye yahaan se. Naam tho Vidya Pratap Singh, Mrs. Vidya Pratap Singh, jee, theek hai," she said.

Sindoora was shell shocked. Yeh dosri Vidya kaun thi? She told the goons to check the nearby area for anyone named Vidya.

Part Nine
Meanwhile, Amar, Divya and Chintu couldn't get a train until after eight pm. Amar worried about the goons finding them. He really wanted his brother safe before anything else happened. Divya had already been injured, there could be a chance they would go after Chintu too.

Ankiet spotted some goons and keep them chasing him all over Delhi. The ploy worked out and threesome was able to leave before the goons made it to the train station. They grabbed Ankiet by the collar.

"Tell us where Vidya Singh is, who was with her?" they demanded.

Ankiet laughed like a mad man.

" Woh chale gaye. Ab woh nahin milenge," he jeered.

They almost strangled him , but Chandra arrived.

" Let him go. Sindoora Madam ka order hai. We can always use him later. Come with me," she stated.

The goons went away. One dropped his wallet unknowingly. Ankiet grabbed it and took some money out of it.

" I will go to Beneras soon!," he exclaimed to himself.

It was after eleven pm when they arrived back in Beneras. Divya had fallen asleep in pain. Amar picked her up while Chintu walked beside them.

" Let's be quiet. Maa aur Babuji are sleeping," he warned his brother.

When they arrived back in the house, they spotted a diya burning before the mandir.

Chintu and Amar exchanged a smile.

Amar placed Divya on one of the beds and tucked her in.

He stretched a bit. Chintu smiled.

" Madamji doesn't look that heavy, have you become weaker Dada?," he teased,.

Amar rolled his eyes.

" Nain, dus kilometers chale thi, islyle. Next time you say that I'm weak, I'll send you back to Delhi!," he hissed at his brother.

Suddenly their Mom woke up and stood pleasantly happy nearby.

Amar and Chintu noticed her and exchanged worried looks. What if she wanted to see Divya? She would see the cast and ask questions.

" Hello Maa," Amar and Chintu said.

She smiled with glee.

" Tum sub agaye? Divya beti kahaan hai? Sun theek toh hai?," she inquired.

Amar nodded.

" Haan Maa, Divya is tired so she went to sleep. Kal subha baathe hogi," he ushered his mother back towards her room.

She agreed and went back to bed.

Amar exchanged a relieved glance with his brother before they went to get ready for bed.
