Part Three

Divya decided to tell Samarat that she was returning to London soon as there was some trouble with her Dad's business.

As expected he did not offer his help, but told her to call him when she returned to Delhi, he would see her off.

" Nahin koi zaroot nahin hai. Mere nehe dost mere saath airport ayenge," she stated.

" Kaun se dost, Divya tum kisi ko nahin janti siva mujhe," he declared.

" Uff! I am a modern girl Samarat! I can find my own way you fool!," she snapped before hanging up.

She turned from the booth to see Bindya standing there.

" Kya tum saach mein jari ho?," she inquired.

Divya smiled.

" I am going for a short time, bawas aao gi thori dere ke baad," she replied .

Bindya nodded meekly and wandered off. Ab Amar usko nahin hogaya.

Divya wondered why Bindya was so upset. She shook her head. " First I need to help Chintu, then perhaps Amar and I can figure out if this rebirth thing is true. Besides I wonder if this is connected to that strange man I met in Delhi. He thought I was Vidya."

Samarat relayed the news to Sindoora.

" So she is leaving. I knew she wasn't right for you. I believe it is best that she does," she commented.

After Samarat stormed out, Chandra came in.

" Divya is leaving the country. There is no need to send out scouts. She has to leave from Delhi itself. Just tell our man in customs to have her arrested if she tries to return to India in the next six months," Sindoora ordered.

" Jee Didi. Aur kuch?," Chandra inquired.

Sindoora shook her head.

" As soon as she leaves and Ankiet is in custody I can live in peace. There is nothing else I rather have," she stated.

Unknown to Sindoora, Amar had just secured a visa renewal form for Divya. All she had to do was have her picture taken and sign some papers in Delhi. Hopefully with his faith and determination he could make sure Divya did not leave India before they figured things out.

Sindoora won't see them just yet, but she will soon. I have a few ideas of twists and misses that must happen before she actually sees them. I'll update later.

Part Four

It was time for them to leave for the train. Divya had traded in most of her dresses for kurtis and salwar kameezes. Today she wore a red and blue combination salwaar and kameez. Amar wore a red kurti with his blue jean jacket and blue jeans.

Amar's mother held her sons close and was teary eyed. Divya smiled slightly and said," Auntie hum un dono ka khayal rakenge."
When the boys moved away, she out an assuring hand on her shoulder. She then bent down to take her ashwirad. She blessed her and thanked her profusely.

" Nain Auntie, yeh mera farz banta hai," she stated.

" Tum kitni acchi ho, apna khayal rak na. Amar isko akela kahin jana mat dena," she admonished.

Amar smiled.

" Hum sub saath mein ragein ge,"

They bid his father and Bindya farewell. Bindiya was very upset and ran off and did not watch them actually leave. She rushed her good-bye and ran off.

They had no time to inquire after her, It was time for them to leave. The threesome hopped into Vidya Sagar taxi. They arrived at the station, Amar a suitcase from the trunk. Divya reached in and grabbed hers.

" Here let me help you with that," he said.

" Nahin main kar loongi," she insited.

Chintu watched them amused. He knew another argument was on the way.

" Main hamesha aapna kam khud karti hoon," Divya said.

" Madamji yeh India hai, aur main toh hoon na, muhje dedo," he insisted.

Chintu noticed they were getting late.

" Dada, Madamji, chaiye hum ko dere hori hai, jaldi chalo," he urged.

Divya glanced at the time.

" Amar, let's go. It's late!," with that she ran ahead to secure their seats.

Amar and Chintu followed soon afterwards.

He was angry with her again. How could she run like that? What if those goons came back?

Divya was sitting relaxed on her seat.

He put the suitcase on the shelf above their compartment. She smiled sweetly at him and Chintu. Chintu tried to be diplomatic and made small talk with her. Amar ignored her.
When none of her attempts made any difference, she turned to Chintu.

" Ab kya hogaya?"

Chintu whispered in her ear. She nodded with understanding.

" Sorry Amar, phirse main ne tumari dil duka hai," she said ( Again I have hurt you)

He looked at her fiercely.

" Vidya, dobarra aisi karn ke mat soochna. Meri jaan…," he trailed off.

Chintu gave him a confused look. It was Divya's look that made him stop short.

Her expression was of utter shock.

"You called me Vidya too," she said numbly.

Part Five

" Kya? I meant Divya," he stammered.

She shook her head. " I must be hearing things, sorry Amar,"

Amar rolled his eyes.

" Madamji, sorry band karo. Both buliya in do dino mein," he implored.

She nodded.

" Phere muhje madam mat bulana. Sirf Divya," she retorted.

Amar smiled. " Ok Divya,"

The train ride to Delhi was two hours. Before they knew it they had arrived. They kept Chintu close to them as they stepped onto the platform.

Amar went to arrange hotel and to inquire about the best hospital in the area. Divya and Chintu went to sell her bracelet so they could have money for expenses. They were on their way back when some people stopped them.

They were commenting how strange it was to see Divya and Chintu traveling alone.

" Yeh alekli nahin hai. Mere Dada saath mein aaye hain," Chintu yelled.

Divya put a supporting hand on his shoulder. " Shant ho jao. Tumari halat..," she trailed off.

" Aapki shaddi hogi? Leken aapne mangastura nahin pehna," someone commented.

" Toh kya hogaya? Main toh aapne.."

Chintu interrupted her.

" Yeh meri hone wali bhabi hain. Ab humhe chor do," he snapped and pulled Divya away.

" Sorry Divyaji, leken yeh lok both ziddi hain, islyle main ne yeh sub…"

" Koi baath nahin Chintu. I understand," she stated.

Suddenly, Amar returned. Chintu noticed the people looking their way. He placed Amar's hand in Divya's.

Amar looked startled and then he noticed the people looking in their direction. He understood the situation and said loudly," Suno jab hum Beneras bawas jayenge, phire humari shaddi hogi!"

"Theek hai jee," Divya said softly.

The people got the idea and then they left from there.

" Kya acting thi," Chintu commented as they went to the hotel.

" Next time tell me the plan ahead of time," Amar warned.

" Theek hai Dada," he said meekly.

Once Chintu settled down, he turned to Divya.

" Vaise tum bhi acchi acting kar liye ati ho," he commented. ( Even you can do nice acting!)

Divya smiled before going to her room.

The next day they took Chintu to the hospital.

" You have brought him just in time. According to the test results, Chintu has a hole in his heart," the doctor stated.

Amar sat stunned.
" Kya aap usko bach sakte ho?" ( Can you save him?)

Divya put a supporting hand on his shoulder.

The doctor nodded.

" Leken operation kal subha karma padega," he stated.

Divya spoke up," Paise humare paas hai. Aap operation ke liye ready ho jao."

Amar gazed at her surprised. She nodded firmly.

They took Chintu to all the religious places between the hospital and hotel. When they returned, Divya sat beside Chintu and stroked his head until he fell asleep.
She turned to get up and her eyes locked with Amar's.

" Tum kyun kitne kuch kari ho?," he inquired.

" Patna nahin leken lagata hai ke humara both purana rishta hai," she stated.
