Part Twenty-one

Samarat convinced Sindoora to leave for some time, as he wanted to ask Divya some questions. Sindoora smiled slightly and went out of the room, giving Divya an evil glare.

Divya stiffened in the chair where she was tied up. Samarat touched her arm. She flinched she didn't like him being so near to her. With everything she had rather be swallowed inside a hole, then be touched by him.

" Listen Divz tum woh dosre ko choro do. I can give you everything he cannot," he insisted.

She looked at him disgusted.

" Samarat I don't love you or even like you, just let me go," she demanded.

He shook his head and grabbed her arm and twisted it a bit.

" Nahin chore mujhe, please Samarat!," she exclaimed.

He untied her bonds and made her get out of her chair. He grabbed her and started to drag her outside towards the car.

" I am not going with you Samarat! What do want? You want to be charged with two counts of kidnapping?" she yelled.

Sindoora rushed outside, but before she could reach them she spotted Amar.

She stopped short, stunned to see him again.

Amar came towards Divya and Samarat.

" Tu meri biwi ka kidnapping kare gaya?," he asked.

Samarat looked at Divya and Amar astonished.

" How can she be your wife?," he asked.

Amar smiled. He pulled Divya away from Samarat and wrapped his arm around her. Ankiet arrived at the scene with some photos of the couple at the jamala ceremony at the mandir and one of them playing Holi. Amar had put some color in Divya's mang that day. However Ankiet hoped it would work in their favor.

By this time Sindoora recovered from her shock and met them all with her goons.

She aimed the gun at Amar and Divya.

" This time I'll make sure you three don't come back," she stated firmly.

However before anyone could act, Sindoora stopped short to see a bullet was now lodged on her right side. She couldn't believe someone had shot her.

Part Twenty-Two

Sindoora turned around and was startled to see Bharat with the gun in his hands. Everyone stared at him astonished. It must have been extremely difficult for a son to shoot his own mother.

Ankiet went to his side.

" Beta tum theek toh ho?," he inquired.

Bharat nodded. He gazed at Sindoora as she was breathing her last on the front lawn. It began to rain. Samarat bent down beside Sindoora. He seemed to be grieving beside her. She handed him the gun. He got up suddenly and aimed at Divya and Amar. They both had a flashback of their death in their previous lifetime. Amar wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Divya, get out of the way, He's the reason Badi Mom is dying," he exclaimed.

Divya stood in front of Amar.

" Agar aaj kisi ko marna hai, toh hum dono saath mein jayenge," she declared.

Samarat clenched his teeth. He wanted Divya and her wealth. He couldn't get away with shooting them both, because then he would be left with nothing. Bharat would get everything of Sindoora's.

Meanwhile, Amar and Divya looked into each other's eyes and recounted the few flashbacks from their previous lifetime along with the instances from this lifetime. It started with their death scene as Sagar and Vidya, and then so forth.

Their trance was broken when the police arrived. They exchanged worried glances but Ankiet gave them an assuring look. The cops greeted Bharat as one of their co-workers. So this explained his long absences from the farmhouse. He was busy planning and working at the police station with his colleagues. Samarat was arrested and Sindoora's body was placed in stretcher.

As the police van pulled away, Amar and Divya were left alone. Pyar Kiya toh Nibhana playing in background.

" I feel so peaceful today, how about you?," Divya asked.

Amar watched the raindrops for a moment.

" Yes it's like our souls have been freed at last," he said.

She turned back to him.

" We have loved Amar, but can we withstand the tests time will bring us?," she inquired.

He cupped her chin.

" I promise in this lifetime I will make up for the mistakes I may have made last time," he pledged.

Divya smiled.

" Same here."

They headed for the car, where Ankiet and Bharat awaited them. After tying some loose ends, they would marry in Beneras.
