Part Eighteen
Samarat couldn't disturb Sindoora as she was getting ready to leave. Her body language dictated that she didn't want to hear anything. She was late for a meeting with the district minister.

Chandra suggested everyone went out for the afternoon. They could always talk to Sindoora when she returned. She went to get Rajeev and Mahua. Of course Chachi and Chacha wanted to tag along. Sindoora hadn't taken them with her, so they were eager to go out some way or the other.

Samarat hoped to steal time away from the older adults. Even if he had to choose Kamna as an excuse to leave them behind

The ladies spotted a nice boutique at the shopping center. They were about to cross the street, when Chachi stopped short and nudged Chacha.

" Dekho, woh kaun hai!," she exclaimed.

Mauha, Rajeev and Chandra stepped forward too and were shocked.

" Chote Thakur wapas agaye hain!" Chacha said.

Mauha and Rajeev exchanged astonished glances.

Chandra simply couldn't believe it.

Seeing everyone shocked, Samarat barely glanced where they were staring. He hinted to Kamna to go elsewhere. She happily agreed and they left.

Suddenly before they could cross the street, a girl came and grabbed his hand and led him away. They couldn't see her face as a few cars passed by.

" Maybe Di is right," Chandra thought to herself.


Meanwhile Amar had been standing there waiting for Divya. She finally arrived.

" Finally you arrived. There was this circus lady staring at me before," he mumbled.

Divya smiled.

"Don't worry darling, mere saath chalo," she said grabbing his hand and pulling him into a jewelry store.

Part Nineteen
Divya looked at earrings; Amar looked listlessly around until his eyes fell on something. He saw some nice sliver payals. He glanced at Divya who was turned away from him. She wore magenta flowy top and dark blue jeans. These payals would suit her. He felt as if he bought them for her once perhaps in their previous janam. He wanted to do so now as well.

He asked the salesman to hand the set over that he had liked.

Divya felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Amar there.

" Kya hua kuch maaji ke liye..," she trailed off.

Amar shook his head. "kuch tere liye,"

He grabbed her shoulders and sat her down on a chair.

He bent down to roll up her pant legs. She blushed. " Kya kare ho?

Amar smiled as he slipped the payals out of the box and clasped each one on her ankles.

" This way wherever you are the clinking of the payals will always call me to your side and your dreams," he stated.

She turned teary eyed with happiness. She placed a hand on his shoulder. He got up and sat down next to her.

" Kabhie mujhe se dor na jana," she whispered.

Amar smiled.

" Jaan, main kabhie tumhe alkela nahin hone doonga," he promised.

Other customers complimented them as they purchased the payals and some other jewelry.

" You and your wife look very sweet together, the saleslady commented.

Amar glanced at Divya.

" Haan who toh hai," he said with a bright grin.

Precap: Samarat hires goons to kidnap Divya. Amar returns to the farmhouse which is filled with smoke.
