Trapped Bird - Part Fourteen
Mm, jab se tum aaye nazar mein ...Khoya khoya rehta hai dil...Dhadkanon se aaj yeh kya...Chupke chupke kehta hai dil
*Guys I'm switching to hindi dialogues, if you guys mind, do tell me, I will once again write the dialogues in English*
After an hour now fully drunk, He irritatedly tried to block out the song playing in the pub from his ears"kyun aaj kal neend kam khaab zyaada hain...lagtha kuda ka koi nek iraada hain..kal tha fakir aaj dil shezada hain..kya mujhe pyaar hain....kaisa sa kumar hain.." He then grabbed his jacket, and drunkenly wobbled towards the door, and almost fell flat on his face, when a strong hand supported him...With half closed eyes Sagar looked up at the man's face in confusion...and then recogniton slowly striked him, as his vision cleared a little bit..."tum" The man forcefully stabled Sagar, and sat him on a nearby chair..and with genuine concern reflected on his face he said "tumne apni haalath kya banake rakhi hain Sagar? Tum yeh sab chor kyun nahi dethe? Yeh sab partying, sharaab peena aur humara business wapees join kyun nahi kar lete?Sagar in half consciosness rubs his eyes sloppily and says..."Karthik"
His head swirled round and round in circles and as if heavy weight was placed over his head, he couldn't seem to open his eyes. Nevertheless, he turned to his right and forced his eyes open to find bright sun light swimming onto his face, groaning and moaning he rolled over onto his tummy and crashed his face into his pillow...*beep* *beep* Sagar sloggily reached for his cell phone placed on his bed side table...and answered it to be welcomed by cheerful voice unfortunately for him "Karthik tum?" Karthik's cheerfulness didn't falter.."Oh toh ab utte hain raj kumar.." Sagar forced himself into a sitting position and gumpily placed his other hand on his head.."dude mai apne bareme nahi tumhare bareme poochra tha, bol phone kyun kiya?" "Aaj race karne ka bada mann karaha hain" Sagar flops back onto the bed "Toh jakar karo na, mujhe kyun pareshaan kar rahe ho?" "Mujhe laga shayad tum mere saath race karna chahoge, par bhi kitna bewacoof hoon, tum kyun race karoge mere saath, tum toh waise hi haar jaoge" That did it, Sagar squinted his eyes "Kyun din mein sapne dekhre ho, mein buzdil nahi hoon, bas tumhe haarne se bachaara tha, tum bas ithna bathao kithne bajje?" "Do bajje sharp..aur.." before Karthik can complete the next sentence, Sagar cuts the phone and throws it on the bed gripping his aching forehead and yells "Dharanjir, ek black coffee le aana"
On the other hand, Vidya walked around the palatial gardens wandering here and there idly...She sat down onto a wooden bench, enjoying the bright sun rays and light winds that caressed her hair ever so slightly...She wrapped her fingers around her scarf's edges and unwrapped them, smiling to herself and allowed her heart to dazzle in day dreams of Sagar...However, much she tried, she just couldn't rid her mind of his thoughts and memories...There was something about him that had somehow unlocked a door in her heart in which she had never allowed anyone to enter...Life was proceeding for her without her living it, it was as life was just a road till the end for her, but now life was instilled into her, she felt like she was living, she felt joy, she felt feelings she had never experienced in her entire life...
Just then, she heard the unmistakable sounds of horse hooves, she looked up to the far side of her, and saw two horses being ridden by some people...She squinted her eyes and tried to make out the figures but the sun's glare was too bright...So, she decided, to go nearer, to see who they were...She got up, and drew closer and closer, by the time she got there, she felt her heart sink below her...It was as if her heart had suddenly detached itself from her body and broken into millions of shards...Her smile turned into an aching shock that pierced her mind...Who was to tell, what would happen in life? She knew she shouldn't have expected anything from her life because everytime desires rose inside of her, they were crushed like stones are ridden over by cars..she felt empty once again...but managed a weak aching smile...
To be continued...
Keep smiling...
