*I added Tusshar, and it might not be according to his character so I apologize in advance.
"This food is great. Yaar Saagar agar tumhaare ghar mein aisa khaana roz milta hai to bas we will become permanent guests in the house." One of Saagar's friends, Tusshar, complimented and the others nodded in agreement.
Aniket smiled an spoke up, "Yeh to Vidya ka kamaal hai. Iske hote hue to mere liye dieting karna kitna mushkil ho gaya hai. Vidya jo bhi pakati hai use main manaa kar hi nahi sakta."
Vidya smiled shyly.
"Saagar you're lucky. If I was you, I would never let Vidya be far from me." Tusshar stated, and the others joined in to rib Saagar about Vidya, teasing them both.
Vidya blushed awkwardly, and Saagar just smiled politely in return.
"Definitely better than Su-Su-Surili." One friend pointed in, and the others laughed.
"Come on guys. That's mean. Surili is great." Saagar said half-heartedly.
"Did I hear someone mention my name?" Surili chose that moment to walk in, as always fond of making a dramatized entrance.
"Hi Surili." Saagar greeted her as she leaned down and placed kissed him on his cheeks.
"Hi Sweetheart. I am so sorry I'm late, hope you didn't miss me too much." She wrapped her arms around Saagar from the back leaning in to him.
"Don't worry Surili we saved some color for you. I think it will go great with your new dress." Tusshar smiled.
Surili lost some of her smile, then regained her composure. "Glad to know you haven't lost your charm, Tusshar. Always thinking about others."
Vidya unable to understand most of the exchange, and not really comfortable with how Surili was draping herself over Saagar, excused herself from the table in pretense to get some Kheer.
Tusshar also got up and excused himself. "I'll go see if Vidya needs any help. Here Surili you can take my seat instead of hanging off of Saagar."
Surili glared at Tusshar but politely took his seat.
In the kitchen Vidya took a deep breath to calm her emotions, holding her tears in.
"You should have said something, instead of letting her hand over him like that." Tusshar spoke up from behind Vidya.
Vidya turned startled, and looked at Tusshar confused. "Ji? Woh main abhi Kheer la rahi thi."
"Why did you not say anything to Saagar?"
"Ji, Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aaya. Humein sirf hindi aati hai. Kya aapko kuch chahiye?"
"Nahi, main Surili ki baat kar raha tha. Tumhain bura nahin laga? Jis tarah woh Saagar se lipti thi?"
Vidya smiled, and said, "Nahi mujhe bura nahi laga. Aakhir woh dono bahut puraane dost hai. Aur phir unke beech mein bahut gehraae dosti hai. Dosti main yeh to sab hota hai."
Vidya didn't know whether she was lying to Tusshar or herself. It bothered her very much, it had always bothered her, but now even more so because Saagar didn't remember her.
Tusshar studied Vidya and smiled. "You Know Saagar is really lucky."
"Ji?" Vidya looked at Tusshar.
"Kheer? Mujhe kheer bahut pasand hai."
Vidya smiled, "Saagar ko bhi. Chaliye." She took the tray and motioned Tusshar to go ahead.
Tusshar shook his head, and then took the tray from Vidya. "Pehle Tum."
Vidya smiled remembering when Saagar had offered to take the tray.
"Vidya tum mere peeche kyu khadi ho, mere aage aao."
After she walked in front of him a few steps, "Nahi Nahi, Aage nahin." Then he looked at her and smiled. "Mere saath mein chalo."
Vidya and Saagar had walked together till they reached the entrance and both got stuck together.
Vidya smiled at the memory.
"Kahaan kho gayi?" Tusshar asked.
"Kuch nahin. Chaliye." She walked with Tusshar to the dining table.
