Vidya tugged the dry sari from the rope. She folded it and placed it in the basket next to her, then reached for the other sari.

She smiled remembering how she and Saagar had managed to get tangled the first time they'd met. When he'd been hesitant to acknowledge her as his wife. She had earned his trust then and she hoped she could again.

"Kinki khayalon mein doobi ho Vidya Rani? Us paagal pati ke to nahi?"

Vidya turned and took a step backward, recognizing Harsh's voice. "Woh paagal nahi hai."

"Oh haan, ab to nahi. Ab to tumhaara pati bilkul hi theek ho gaya hai. Pur bechari Vidya, shayad woh paagal hi tumhaare liye theek tha. Ab to use tumhaari koi zaroorat nahi."

Vidya bit her tongue and turned away to leave, but Harsh grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him.

"Jab woh paagal tha to tumhaari jaisi unpad or gaon ki gori theek thi. Ab jabke woh theek hai, to phir tumhaari jaisi se use ka lena dena."

"Humein chod dijiye." Vidya struggled against Harsh, who oly proceeded to wrap his arms around her tighter.

"Humne tumhe chodne ke liye nahi pakda hai Vidya rani...tumhe to hum apnaa ke hi rahenge."

Vidya pushed against Harsh with all her might managing to free herself, then ran in the opposite direction, downstairs.

She crashed into Saagar, making him drop whatever he was holding.

He looked at Vidya frustrated. "What the heck? Do you ever walk straight or look where you are going? Kya main tumhaara crash post hoon. Jab dekho aake chipak jaati ho."

"Krush Post...Nahi woh main.." She looked behind her for Harsh, then at her hands that were holding on to Saagar along with the sari that was still in her hands.

Saagar followed her gaze, and sighed. "Nahi mujhe sari pahen ne ka koi shauk nahi hai."

"Ji yeh aapki nahi hai."

Saagar looked at Vidya with disbelief. Did she really think he was serious? She looked distressed, and kept looking behind her as if expecting someone to show up.

"Woh nahi aayega."

Vidya looked at Saagar, now confused. Was he talking about Harsh? "Kaun."

"Tumhaara Rajkumaar, jiska tum intezaar kar rahi ho."

"Rajkumaar, woh.."

"I don't have time for this. Dekho mujhe kaam hai ok. Kal mera pehla din hai back in the office. So I have to finish looking over the reports so I know what to expect. So if you're done playing catch, can I go? Kya main jaa sakta hoon?"

Vidya didn't understand most of it, but she nodded at the last sentence.

"Uh Vidya, agar tum yuhi kas ke pakdogi to main kaise jaa sakta hoon." Saagar wrapped his hands around Vidya's to untangle them.

"Saagar Honey. Sweetheart. I've been looking all over for you. Pata hai aaj meri friend ki party hai, and I have no one to go with. Please chaloge na mere saath, jaanu please."

Surili walked up from behind Saagar, wrapping her arms around his neck. She kissed him on his cheek before noticing that Vidya was standing opposite to him.

"Oh hey Vidya." She smirked at Vidya before turning her attention back to Saagar. "To you're coming no? Or tumhe pehle Vidya ki ijaazat mangni padegi? Haan Vidya?"

"Mujhe Vidya ki ijaazat ki zaroorat nahi hai."

"Well, woh tumhaari patni hai. Shayad pooch lena chahiye."

Saagar, tightened his fist, digging his fingers into Vidya's in frustration, not realizing he was still holding on to Vidya's hand. "Jab maine kaha hain ki mujhe permission nahi chahiye to mujhe nahi chahiye."

Vidya flinched and pulled her hands away.

Saagar looked at Vidya realizing what he had done, "Uh..I.."

"Maaji mujhe dhoond rahi hogi." She avoided his eyes, hiding her hurt, afraid she might not be able to control herself if she looked at him.

She walked away rubbing her hands to rub away the marks on her hand.

Saagar watched guiltily, and sighed. He had to do something about their relationship, if he could even call it that.

"So come on get ready, jaldi. Party starts in an about an hour. Come I'll pick your outfit for you."

Saagar let himself be dragged by Surili to his room, and picked out his clothes to wear for the party. Surili sat on the bed as Saagar removed his t-shirt to change.

"Hmm maybe you should just come like that..." Surili said smiling.

Vidya walked in with saris in her hand. She looked at Saagar, then at Surili, then averted her gaze as she walked towards the closet that she and Saagar shared.

She pulled out some more of her clothes, and then quitely walked out, closing the door firmly behind her.

"That was awkward...and weird." Surili shrugged her shoulders as Saagar continued to stare at the closed door.
