Vidya was busy wondering who Radha is and why her name was on a ring that had a huge rock on it. If Vidya had to take a guess she would estimate the diamond to be a 5 carat. The thief in her wondered if she should take it. After all, it is the owner's carelessness for leaving such an expensive thing under a pillow. She smiled as she changed her mind and put the ring back in the box. Leaving the box on the bed she got up. She expected to have jetlag but to her surprise she was not tired at all. She looked toward the door and wondered when her bags would be up so she could take a shower. She looked out of the window as she walked toward the bathroom. The garden outside of this house was also gorgeous. She opened the door to the bathroom and her jaw again dropped. It was a huge bathroom, probably the size of her bedroom back home. She closed the bathroom door behind her and thought that cold water splashing on her face is what she needed at the moment.
Sagar walked toward his room looking tired. No matter how many times he got on a plane, he never got used to it. He opened the door to his room and didn't notice the fact that his bed was not completely made. The pillows were tossed around and a red jewelry box sat on the middle of his bed. He took his coat off and threw it on the bed. He walked toward his closet as he pulled out his white shirt that was tucked neatly in his pants and started unbuttoning his shirt. Just when he reached for his belt Vidya walked out of the bathroom and spotted Sagar as he just dropped his belt on the ground. Her jaw dropped and every possible filmy situation popped into her head. Just as he reached to unbutton his pants, Vidya shouted "Oye!" Sagar turned his head in shock as he spotted Vidya. Vidya fuming with anger narrowed her eyes on him as Sagar still looked confused. She calculated all the scenarios in her head and ignoring the fact that Sagar stood in front of her with an unbuttoned shirt pointed a finger at him and shouted "Just because I came with you for work doesn't mean that I will sleep with you. How could you think that I would even…" Before she even went on Sagar laughed and looking at her cleared his throat and asked "What are you doing in my room?" Vidya walked toward him and still pointing her finger held up her part of the argument, "You! How could you? I know that you must have told your servant to bring me to your room so you could make merry!" Sagar laughed and called out to his maid and then looked back toward Vidya. He still smiling raised a brow, "Babes, if I wanted a little action my maid would be a better choice than you at the moment." That hurt. Vidya's jaw dropped as she fought the urge to give him a punch in his guts. He was still grinning when they both heard the knock on the door. Sagar answered and asked the maid to come in. The maid as she walked in bowed in front of him out of habit. Vidya looked at the maid and saw her pink flushed cheeks and Vidya rolled her eyes and thought that sure Sagar was nice looking and seeing him in that state would melt any woman, but that was beside the point.
"Is there a problem, sir?" the maid asked embarrassingly.
Sagar in a very calm tone replied. "Yes. Why is Vidya in my room? I asked for you to show her to one of the rooms, but not my bedroom."
The maid looking towards Vidya apologized, "My apologies. I thought the madam was with you and you would be staying together, you know." Sagar had to laugh at that and make Vidya even angrier. Sagar winked at the maid and being very insultingly polite said, "Nah! She is not the type I go for." The maid also held a laugh back and looked towards Vidya. But when she saw the look on Vidya's face she stopped and gesturing towards the door asked Vidya to follow her to a different room. Before the maid could step out of the room she heard Sagar calling out to her and this time his tone was not too polite. Vidya and the maid both turned around in shock and saw him standing beside the bed holding the red jewelry box and staring towards the maid in anger. Sagar took a couple of slow steps towards them and in a rough mild tone asked "He was here?" The maid looking apologetic got the courage to speak and replied "Yes, he told us not to move the ring from under your pillow. He said you would get the message." Vidya saw the look on Sagar's face and expected him to snap any minute. But to her surprise he walked up to the maid and grabbing her hand put the box in her hand, "You go put that under his pillow." He shot a look at Vidya and a smirk came to his, "And while you are at it, why don't you take Vidya to his room. I am sure he would love the fact that somebody stayed in his room in his absence." That had to be sarcasm, Vidya thought. Finishing his sentence he raced towards the bathroom and slammed the door behind him.
Following the maid Vidya thought about what could have made Sagar so angry and whose room was he sending her off to. She decided to take her chances and asked the maid. "What was that about?" The maid didn't say anything and opened the door to one of the rooms and said "This is your room. You will be staying here." Vidya entered the room but without looking around she questioned again, "Whose room is it? Who was he talking about?" The maid smiled as she walked into the room to put the jewelry box under one of the pillows and ignoring Vidya's question said, "The dinner will be served in two hours. I will see to it that your bags get sent up here. You should freshen up." The maid left closing the door behind her as Vidya stood there examining the situation and the odd behavior of the maid. Vidya finally took notice of the room and noticed that though the current room she was in was huge, it was different, so much more different. Sagar's room had been fancier, from the sheets to the curtains. But this room, it seemed liked it belonged to man with an interesting personality and taste. She smiled as she turned around and spotted a big poster of a sports car. Vidya looked around hoping she would find a picture of the owner somewhere in the room, but there were no pictures in the room, just posters. And when she sat at the end of bed her eyes widened as she spotted not one but two big screen TV's on the wall in front of her. She grinned as she started looking for the remote and when she found it she giggled and said, "I have a feeling I would like the person this room belongs to."
Vidya was escorted to the dining area exactly two hours later as she was told. Vidya looked at the big dining table and so many chairs around it and wondered why someone would need so many chairs around the table. The she spotted Sagar. He looked like royalty sitting at the head of table sipping wine from his glass while the maids came and went with food. Vidya walked up as she wondered which chair would be best for her. She decided the chair beside him would be best. She sat and looked towards her plates and the utensils around it and then looked at Sagar again, "You did this on purpose didn't you? You knew I can't eat with these fancy things so you had you servants put all these here." Sagar placed his glass on the table and smiled looking towards her "I did no such thing. Besides, I think you should learn to eat like a lady even if you don't care about looking like one." Vidya wrapped her fingers on the knife that was on the table in front of her and thought of stabbing him. Sagar saw the look on her face and smirked, "Truth can sometimes her hurt." Vidya hearing that told herself that it would probably please him to see her angry and she would not allow him the satisfaction. She played with the knife and smiled looking at him and spoke, "So are you always a cocky bas***d or am I the first person who has had the pleasure of seeing this side of you?" Sagar rolled his tongue in his mouth and thought she is indeed a tough cookie. Nothing like any other girl he had met. He liked the fact that he didn't have to throw out lines to woo her, because he was simply not interested in her that way. Women, he thought. If you did not say to them what they wanted to hear the game would be up. Though he never had any problems wooing the women he was interested in, he wished he was given at least one challenge. He would enjoy a challenge. Vidya was still waiting for an answer when the food arrived. No matter how much Sagar annoyed Vidya, she would not let that come in the way of her enjoying a good meal. She smiled and looking at her food started dinner.
She had a mouth full of food when Sagar spoke and got her attention. "What size shoes do you wear?" he asked bluntly. Vidya swallowed the food in her mouth and raised a brow. "Why do you care?" He smiled picking up his glass, "Because the first thing we are going to do is buy you some heels tomorrow." Vidya's jaw dropped at hearing that. Vidya and heels didn't go together. Not even if she wanted them to. But then she narrowed her eyes on Sagar's gorgeous smiling face and wondered exactly what he had in his mind, because stealing a necklace had nothing to do with buying her heels.
