Vidya sat in the cab looking happy that she was able to pull it off and Chinu didn't have to find out about the whole thing. But she may be forgetting that things don't always work out in life as one wants them to. For now, she was excited about going to Europe and forgot to ask Sanju one very important question. Vidya forgot to ask about when Sanju was returning and why they left to go to Maasi's house in the first place. Sanju herself didn't know why she was going there. She took the chance when her mother offered because that way she won't have to fight with herself everyday to not go to Chinu. Two weeks away from Chinu should do it. He would realize how important Sanju is to him, or at least she hoped that he would realize.
Vidya walked through the huge garden of Sagar's house while she was struggling with her bag. It wasn't that heavy but the walk was just too long. She finally reaches the door as she puts her bag on her shoulder and rings the doorbell as she tries to catch her breath thinking that she needs to work-out more often. She is surprised to see that Sagar opened the door this time and not one of his maids. He was wearing a black suite again looking like he is ready for a business trip. Sagar looks at his watch. "You're late." He looks behind her and raises a brow when he notices the bag on her shoulder, "That is all you are taking with you?"
Vidya looks at her bag. "Yes. Why?" Sagar steps out of the door and points towards a car that is parked nearby. "My luggage is already in the car. I was expecting you to bring a lot of bags. I assumed you would be like all the other girls. You know, taking way more than you need on a trip." Vidya keeps walking behind him and wonders what other girls is he talking about and how many such trips has he taken.
He wasn't driving the car today, which Vidya was very thankful for. Today he decided to sit on the back seat of the car. Vidya was sitting on his right side. Though they were both sitting in the back seat, there was so much distance between them as Vidya was busy staring out of the window and Sagar was messing with his cell phone. Vidya was getting very nervous now. She had never been on a plane before. Heck, she hadn't even been in an airport before. She wondered what it would be like when the plane took off. She places a hand on her stomach as she gets nervous and wonders if she is going to be sick. She takes a few deep breaths as convinces herself that she is not a little girl anymore and she will not get sick and throw up just because she is nervous. Anxiety attacks, they were very common in Vidya when she was a little girl. But she hadn't experienced them for years. But now she was feeling like a little girl again. She turns her head and looks toward Sagar as he is still busy messing with his cell phone. She starts biting her nails as she keeps looking at him and he turns his head and sees her staring. He sees her biting her nails and immediately grabs her hand and pulls it, "That's gross! Stop biting your nails. It annoys me when someone does that!" Vidya pulls her hand away from him and shouts, "I find everything you do annoying. You don't see me complaining." Which was far from the truth, but Vidya was not stupid enough to let Sagar have the upper hand in the argument. The driver looked through the rearview mirror in shock because he had never seen someone speak to Sagar in such a manner before. Sagar narrows his eyes on her and was about to say something when the driver spoke and told them that they had arrived at the airport.
After checking in their luggage, Sagar was walking towards their gate with their boarding passes as Vidya walked behind him tying her ponytail. She runs and catches up to him. She sees the people staring at her and wonders what must be going through their heads. She laughs thinking that she knows what they are thinking; they must be thinking what a guy like him was doing with a plain Jane like her. She was walking laughing to herself when she suddenly stops and looks ahead. She sees Sagar getting on an escalator. She looks scared as she sees the moving stairs as she stands at the same spot. Sagar looks behind when he senses that she is not with him. He walks down on the escalator. He sees that Vidya is about to start biting her nails. He walks towards her saying, "Don't do it!" Vidya brings her hand down hearing him say that and wonders what to tell him so he won't think that she is stupid for being scared of the moving stairs. Sagar grabs her by her arm and pulls her towards the escalator. Vidya pulls away, "Can't we take regular stairs?" Sagar looks at his watch, "Vidya, we don't have time for this…we were supposed to be at our gate by now. They are already boarding." Just as he finishes his sentence he hears the announcement calling Sagar Singh and Vidya Singh to the boarding gate. He looks towards Vidya and thinks that she is a tough cookie. Because he does not want to miss his flight, he goes with his instinct. As Vidya is still busy looking at the escalator he picks her up in his arms as Vidya is taken by a total pleasant surprise. She totally lost the ability to speak, even though she wanted to question him about what he was doing. As she is still in his arms he steps onto the escalator and Vidya keeps looking towards his face as he seems least bothered by it. People around them smile looking at them as Sagar puts her down as he got off the escalator. Vidya keeps looking at him as her heartbeat fastened to a thousand beats per second. He starts walking towards the gate saying, "See. You are still alive." Vidya as she lets out a deep breath starts walking behind him.
Sagar got the window seat. Vidya sitting beside him looked around. Flying in first class, Vidya never thought that would happen. She looks towards Sagar's side and starts looking out of the window. She grins like a little child when she sees that the plane has started moving. Sagar closes his eyes as he rests his head on the headrest of the chair. His idea of flying is a peaceful nap. But with Vidya around, I don't think that is possible. She sees that the plane is about to take off and she leans towards the window a little more and Sagar opens his right eye first and then the left eye and sees that she is trying to stare out of the window. Vidya looks towards him and notices that he is staring at her as she is leaning over him as she is trying to stare out of the window. She backs away, "I was just trying to see. I have never been on a plane before." Sagar smiles and closes his eyes again thinking that she is going to stop. Vidya sees that he closed his eyes again and starts staring out of the window again. When the plane takes off, Vidya screams in excitement as Sagar opens his eyes immediately and sees that everyone is staring in their direction. He sees Vidya looking excited like a little girl as she is still looking out of the window. He unbuckles his belt, "That's it! You can have the window seat." Vidya smiles as she unbuckles her belt and switches the seat with him. Sagar thinks that now he can have his peaceful nap, but his happiness is short lived when Vidya grabs him by his arm pointing at things out of the window trying to show him what she sees. Sagar grabs his headphones as he takes out his iPod and listens to music as Vidya is still busy talking to him.
As the plane landed, Sagar and all the others passengers sigh of relief that they will not have to deal with Vidya's excitement anymore. Vidya grins in amazement as she sees the big airport they landed in. She looks around at all the gora's and then looks towards Sagar as he keeps walking towards baggage claim. She runs to catch up to him because she would not want to be lost at the airport. After they collected their luggage, Vidya wonders if they are going to take a cab. But she is surprised to see a man in tux come up to them as he grabs the luggage trolley from Sagar. The man looks towards Vidya as he points to the door and says, "This way madam." Vidya wonders who he is. As they sit in the car which she assumed belonged to that man. Sagar once again sat in the back seat with Vidya. Vidya finally asks who the man is. Sagar smiles and tells Vidya that the man is his butler. Vidya looks shocked and asks, "Do you have a house in this country, too?" Sagar smiles as he shuts his eyes trying to rest, "Yes, I have a house here." Vidya looks out of the window as she sees the huge buildings in the foreign land and then asks again, "How many houses do you have?" Sagar opens his eyes and tells her, "I never stay at one place for long. And I don't like selling something once I buy it. So wherever I have been…I have a house waiting for me. I don't plan on staying long in your city either. I don't know why I came and got that house in your city anyway." Vidya smiles thinking that he came there for a reason. He was the one who was supposed to make sure that the foster home got built. In a way it was Sagar who was putting up that foster home. It was the money from his paintings that was helping, and then he was the one who got them the land. Now, the money she will get from him by stealing that necklace will put furniture and supplies in the foster home.
She was busy with her thought when she saw that the car stopped and once again she found herself in front of a mansion. The butler opens the door for Vidya as she steps out admiring the place where she is going to be spending the next week or so. Sagar starts walking towards the house as Vidya follows him while the butler tries to grab the luggage. Vidya's jaw drops as she enters the house. It was a beautiful house; Vidya had never seen such beautiful furniture and antiques in her life. As Vidya was busy looking around, Sagar calls out a name. A maid comes running out of one of the corners of the house as she hears Sagar. She bows seeing Sagar and welcomes him. Sagar smiles and tells her to show Vidya to a room. The maid was smiling still looking towards Sagar, but her smile fades way as she looks at Vidya and the way she is dressed. She looks at Vidya from head to toe as Vidya raises a brow now and the maid puts on a fake smile and points towards the stairs saying, "This way." Vidya follows her and finds that the maid has brought her to an amazing room. Vidya waits till the maid leaves and then jumps on the huge bed. It was too comfortable, the most comfortable bed Vidya had been on. She hugs the pillows as she closes her eyes but then immediately opens her eyes as she feels something under one of the pillows. She sits up as she picks up the pillow and sees a tiny red jewelry box. She looks around and then grabs the box as she opens it. Her eyes widen as she sees a huge diamond ring. She keeps looking at it for a minute and then when she can't help it, she takes out the ring to try it on. She smiles as she puts on the ring on her finger. She puts her hand in front of her face as she admires the beauty of the ring and then turns her hand to take off the ring and notices something written of the band of the ring. She takes off the ring and brings it closer to her face as she tries to read what it says, "Radha!" Vidya looks at the huge diamond on the ring again and wonders who Radha is.
