Part 5, A new Project
-Deepika's POV-
I was sitting in a meeting with my dad and other clients. We were waiting for people from Sharma Industries. I knew that Jeet and his dad were coming, and some other clients. The time was now 2pm and they would be here 2.15pm. The meeting started 15min ago. My dad was leading and talking about the new project. The plot I was talking with my dad about, we bought together with Sharma Ind. We decided to pay half-half and build the Shopping Center together. I was going to work on the project with Tara and someone from Sharma Ind. But I didn't now who. After 10 min they came, 5min earlier. They sat down and I saw Aditya there too. I had no idea that he would come here. He waved to me and I waved back. They introduced theirself and then the real meeting started.
"Tara, Deepika, Gaurav and Aditya will work together on this Project. Me and Fardeen will talk to you after the meeting..." said dad. I looked shocked and I saw that Aditya was shocked too. Omg... Am I going to work with Aditya? Little brother to Jeet? I looked beside me and saw Tara smiling big. I coudn't believe that Dad had sat us 4 together. Only God knows how this is going to turn out... But I'm happy I had Tara with me. Atleast, I had someone I knew who I could work together with. I barely knew Aditya and Gaurav. But I hope they work good and this SC will be perfect.
"Tara... why were you smiling so big inside there?" I asked her as we were heading for Dad's office. "Yaar, did you see Gaurav? Omg, he looked so hot!" she said. I rolled my eyes. First she was in love with Vicky, but he moved to another city. Now she is after Gaurav. "Don't tell me that you like him already?" I said slowly. "Eeeh... Sorry?" she said. I shaked my head and said it was ok. "Did you see his smile?" she asked me. "Eeeh.. No" I said. "He had the most beauiful smile in the world! Gosh, he's smile is Breathtaking!" she said. She was lost in her thougts. I hit her arm and she came out of it with a grumpy face.
"You and Aditya will work with the inside of the building while Gaurav and Tara with the outside." said Fardeen. Fardeen was Aditya and Jeet's dad. Dad knew him very well as they had worked together on many projects. "Now everything is settled down and you guys can start making a plan" he said. We started walking towards my office all 4 of us. I had the biggest office except for my Dad's. I opened the door and we sat around on the table. Tara took out a big paper and laid it on the table. She took out pencil to everyone and we start planning.
"The Cafeteria should be on the 2nd floor on the backside. People can sit in the balcony and look at the view at the same time. We should have sime kind of roof that will deck the cafetera as it can start raining. Around the balcony we can have half walls with glasses on the 2nd half" I said. The other agreed and we draw it on the paper. "We can have 1 big food shop and seven smaller clothes/shoes/jewellery/cosmetics/toys shops on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor we have 1 cafeteria and 1 restaurant on the left backside with view at the ocean and 6 different kinds of shops. Toilets in the restaurant and each floor" Aditya said. I thought it was a great idea. I asked Gaurav and Tara about what the think of the idea and they said it was great. We started to draw it on the paper. After finishing with the drawing we talked about the outside area. We decided to make a parking place outside and in the basement. The basement parking place would be the biggest. Beside the main doors we were going to have fountains and a bit flowers to mark it.
"Uff... We have worked now for 2 hours, can we take a break for 10min now?" asked Tara. All of us were tired and decided two drive to the cafeteria and eat something. We drove with Aditya's car. The Cafe was about 10min from here. In the car we were talking and laughing. As we arrived we parked the car and went it.
