Part 4, Make a wish

-Aditya's POV-

"Aditya... are you going to wake up?" said Jeet. He was sitting beside me. "Mm..mm... what is it?" I said. I opened my eyes and sat up. "Do you know what's the time?" he said. "Mmm... no... 10am?" I said. "Add 2 hours" he said. He laughed as when he saw my eyes widened. I looked at the clock and stood up. "Why are you waking me up so late?" I said mad. "Why are you so mad at me?" he said. He was still laughing. "Shut up..." I said. I went to the bathroom and he went down. I took a shower and changed clothes and went down. I ate sandwich and drank a glass of water and sat down with my parents.

"Beta, why did you woke up so late?" dad asked. I looked away from the TV and said, "I don't now.. I guess I was very tired!". We talked about different stuff and I worked a bit on the laptop. We ate dinner together and when it was 8pm I took my carkeys and went out.

I was driving alone. People were driving here and there. It was Saturday and I was bored so I decided to drive on a long trip. As I was driving I saw a family on 4 people. 2 children and 2 parents. I smiled. They were buying Ice cream. I thinked about my future. I didn't want to settle down yet. I turned left and drove to a hill. I stopped my car and stood outside of the car. I looked at the view. Whenever I was alone, I came here. Here I could be alone and think in peace. No one could disturb me or anything. I sensed someone coming behind me suddenly. It was the first time I had seen someone here. I turned around and saw a girl walking towards me. I smiled looking at her. She looked pretty familiar. I felt I knew her and I had met her before. When she was right beside me she turned around and looked at me. I could see her face.

Both of us looked shocked at eachother. "TUM?" both of us said at the same time. "Omg, I haven't seen you since the Wedding" I said. I was still shocked seeing her again after so long time. "Yeah, I haven't seen you either, except for yesterday at the disco" she giggled. I looked down at my feet. "Don't be so shy..." she said. I looked up and she smiled. We sat down at the ground and looked up at the stars. It was dark already outside. "I come here often but I have never seen you here before" I said. She turned my face to me and said, "I come here often toom but normally at Sunday's". I smiled and looked up at the stars again. The stars were shining and the moon was pregnant. "Look, it's full moon today, have you made a wish?" I asked her. "No I haven't done it yet, have you?" she asked me. I shaked my head. "I guess we can do it together now. I've heard that if two persons wish together by holding hands then their wish will get fulfilled fast" I said. "My grandmother told me that too. I've always done it alone..." she said. "Then why not do it now, together?" I asked her. I held my hand forward and looked at her with a smile on my lips. She looked at my hand and the on my face. "Are you sure?" she asked. "I've never been so sure, come on" I said. She took her hand forward and looked at my face again. I smiled and she layed her hand in my hand. She had so thin fingers. "Are you ready?" I asked. "Yes. Lets count to three and then we close our eyes and made a wish. As I closed my eyes her face came there. I didn't now why. I wished that I want to meet my true love. The one I can soon settle down with and share the rest of my life with. After completing the wish I opened my eyes and turned my face to her. She still had her eyes closed. I was still looking at her.

"Finished!" she said. I was still looking at her. She waved her hand infront of my face. I still didn't blink or anything. "Oye, where are you lost" I heard her saying. I came out of my thoughts. "Finally... where were you lost?" she asked me. I smiled. "Nothing..." I said looking down. "Yaar, why are you blushing?," she asked me. I didn't answer her. "Ok... don't answer me," she said. "Do you know what's the time?," she asked after some minutes. I took my mobile from my pocket and looked at the clock. "It's 9.30pm" I said. "I have to go before my mum gets mad," she said giggling. I laughed at that. "I think I should leave too." We both stood up and I walked towards my car. "Mmm... you? Do you drive or what?," I asked her. I ran my hand through my hair. "Actually...no. I'll take the bus," she said starting to walk again. "Hey, wait! If you want I can drive you," I said running after her. "You sure it's ok?". I nodded and she came with me and sat down in the car.

"So... how is Sanju Didi?" she asked. I changed gear, "Yeah she is fine and the baby is very healty. The doctors are saying that the baby is going to be very healty when it's born, if she eats as much as she does right now and eats healty food," I said. She smiled and I turned my car right. Then I drove straight forward and took the last left turn.

"Thanks for driving me," she said while opening her seatbelt. She opened the door and went out. Before she went out she turned around to say bye. I said bye to her. She was just about to close the door, "Aren't you going to tell me your name?" I asked her smiling big. She laughed. "Deepika, that's my name. And yours?" she asked me. "My name is... Aditya" I said. She smiled and said goodbye. She went to her door and closed the door after her. Then I drove home.
