Divya was relieved after talking to Chintu. The house lines were busy for the next couple of days to come. Sindoora was busy trying to find out who this BS guy was. She sensed familiarity but nothing seemed to register this time in her mind about who he could be. What agenda did he have against her and how did he gain so much power so quickly?
Divya really wanted to talk to Amar. Her mind and heart were battling it out every morning and at nightfall when she made time to actually think about the situation. Her heart no longer pounded in worry. All she wanted to know when Amar was coming to get her. She would go back but after taking to Dai Mom and Rajeev Uncle she realized that maybe Sindoora had something planned. If she was to go back before Amar really was ready to take her side it would just shatter her again. She needed to build up her strength before she could return back to the battlefield.
" Distance makes the heart fonder," Gaytari quipped.
She explained when she had been in her early years of her marriage, her husband often had to go away for business. After they saw each other after a few days of separation, it felt like they were falling in love all over again.
Divya and Rajeev turned solemn as they listened to her stories.
" You must really miss him," Divya said as she put an assuring hand on her Dai Mom's arm.
Gaytari smiled.
"Yes I do but I know his memories are always here in my heart. I am sure some more time away from Amar will do you both some good. Let him pine for you. When he does come here, you get to fall in love all over again," she assured Divya.
Meanwhile Amar pushed himself in rehab and tried to recover quickly. In between he would ask Chintu about Sindoora's whereabouts. Whenever she was around he pretended to be still ailing from his injuries. However as soon as she left the house to attend to party business or to trail down Mr. BS, he would start to push himself in recovering and planning his trip to London.
" First I would love to find that Viren and beat him up," Amar said to Chintu as he sat down on the machine and did his exercises.
Chintu encouraged him and handed him some juice. Suddenly the boys froze hearing Sindoora's voice loom around the house.
" Chintu hand me the crutches. I have to go back into the bed. Go along with what I say," he insisted.
Amar was back in bed by the time, Sindoora entered the room.
" Hello Chintu, hello Amar. Aaj tum kaise ho?," she inquired with her plastered smile.
Amar clenched his teeth and thought," Hey I know you are a lying witch. Can you just go away from my sight?"
Chintu piped up, " Badi Mom today he has been in bed all day. He didn't even do his exercises today."
Sindoora looked thoughtful.
" Good so he cannot go bring Divya back anytime soon. I hope soon I can start to brainwash him again."
" Yes Badi Mom. I have been in pain all day. I don't know when I will get better," he quipped.
Sindoora smiled slightly. She pulled out an envelop.
"Yeh London ki ticket hai. You cannot possibly go there in this condition," she quipped.
Suddenly she got a call on her phone. After hearing the person on the phone, she dropped the envelop. Amar indicated for Chintu to grab it.
Sindoora hung up shocked. Unfortunately she regained her composure and inquired by the ticket.
" Oh it's for an employee. I needed to go to London for a meeting, however since I cannot go I will have the name changed and send my assistant there instead," Amar quipped.
Sindoora nodded.
She would have to look into the matter later. For now she had Mr., BS to look after.
Meanwhile Divya began to think of the day before she left how she heard Sindoora and Amar talking about divorce papers. She had not received anything. It had been a week since she talked to Chintu. If Amar came would he really be there to take her back? She had not mentioned the divorce papers to either Rajeev or Gayatari. She didn't want to make Amar seem like the enemy. Yes he had made a huge mistake and their marriage had been at crumbling point. Now she only hoped the distance they had now would bring him here soon before she totally lost hope. She would not return until he came to get her.
However she decided to try reaching him today.
Divya reached for the phone and punched in his cell number. She held her breath for a moment until it began to dial.
Amar stared over at his phone just as it began to ring.
He picked up and he just knew it was her.
"Divya tum kaise ho?" he inquired.
Tears threatened to escape from her eyes and she held back the sobs. She couldn't let him hear her cry.
" Please Divya say something," he pleaded.
Then she could hold it back no more. She started to sob. The pain she felt and disappointment was evident as Amar heard it.
" Divya I know I hurt you. I'll be there soon," Amar whispered.
The line went dead. Divya slammed the phone down beside her bed.
