As Divya and Rajeev sat in the plane, Divya started to recall how things used to be before Sindoora ruined everything yet again. She smiled recalling how after he teased about Samrat he bent down on his knees and grabbed her hands, asking for forgiveness. How funny he had looked chewing paan!
Then she turned solemn how he came to get her from the airport during the riots. She had embraced him with true relief and happiness. However today he hadn't followed her to bring her back. When and if he came would she be able to let everything go and simply let him back into her life?
She fell asleep thinking all these thoughts.
Meanwhile Viren came back to the Singh Mansion. He searched around for Divya but was stopped short by Sindoora.
" Your work here is done. Here take the rest of your payment," she said as she handed him the check.
" What about Divya? I don't see her around," he quipped.
Sindoora smiled.
" She's gone. That's all that matters now."
As she turned around her smile faded. Amar stood there literally shocked.
Viren took the opportunity to slip away. His work was done and he had his money.
Sindoora cringed.
She was hoping to make it seem like Divya left with Viren, but now Amar knew the truth.
" What else have you lied about? Because of you…," he trailed off.
" Beat aisi koi baat nahin hai," Sindoora tried to assure him.
Amar shook his head.
" No more! I was so cruel to her! I just let her go like that. Where will she go like this?," he exclaimed.
He decided to go look for her. He searched for hours until Chintu called him.
" Dadda, Bhabi may have gone to London but I don't know if Rajeev Uncle went with her or not," he stated.
Amar stood stunned for a moment.
His father was alive and so this meant Sindoora had lied about other things too. He had ignored Divya's attempts of revealing the truth.
How he wished he could just go hold her now and ask for forgiveness. He rushed home to look through her room for any clues. Even an address could help. There was nothing pointing to where she had gone.
Meanwhile Divya awakened when the plane landed. After customs, Divya and her father-in-law headed to the estate. Rajeev looked impressed and wondered how Divya ever managed to stay in India so long.
Both were surprised to see an elderly woman opening the door. Divya was quite surprised and embraced the woman. When Divya stood back, Rajeev was surprised to see the woman was none other than Buaji!
" I am so glad you are all right! Oh this is my father-in-law," she quickly indicated for Rajeev to come forward.
Gaytari smiled.
" Yes I remember him. So you and Mahua are…," she trailed off seeing his expression.
" Come inside. I guess you both had the need to run away," she quipped.
Rajeev nodded.
" It's a long story but I am sure you will be aware of the cause of our problems."
Gaytari frowned.
" Sindoora, I cannot believe she isn't dead yet," she stated as they made their way to the hall.
