Dear Friends,
It seems Santo is on her way to Sainthood, a typical BT heroine in making. I cannot believe she is only 18. I know she is not educated and somewhat resigned to her fate but what about the feelings of a 18 year old girl. This is un-natural characterisation and very one dimensional, typical BT style....I am disappointed.....Tin

Sorry... before I respond, I would like to know which forum you are refering to. India Forum in general, on this Bandini discussion forum specifically? I an assure you that here we discuss Bandini with too much rationality sometimes😊

Am no fan of BT and have never seen any of their serials before. Bandini is certainly different from a lot of serials on TV at the moment, not just from BT but from other production houses too.

Santo's character is not shown as being saintly. She is just a soft-spoken girl, with a mature head. She is from a poorer background and understands that she does not have too many options in life, and is trying to deal with the ones available in a practical manner. She is married to an older man, and is trying to do her best. We may still see her get angry... it's only 4 months since the serial started. So give it time...

Before this I have watched Kasamh Se and I see many similarities with that serial. I have interacted with other people who have followed other BT say these are the traits of typical BT heroine. I started watching this serial thinking BT will show something different as many other serials are doing the same, the trend is so....
Why I raised this point inspite of raising this point earlier also, I want BT to take some heed, show some reality...a person is a complete person who has his strong points and weak points, and over coming the weak points, at times crubing your inner desire makes the situation interesting......
Too much of sugar in the khir does not make it taste better....😃

But Tin,

She DOES have her weak points and that has been shown too .. like how she jumped the gun in Kaduu's case and when the truth comes out, she is going to be the one to get the blame..

@ Padmakka :

Even if you are targeting Bandini forum, then I think you have not really read the stuff posted in the discussion thread or you would not have posted such a demeaning remark ..

Hm, funny you bring that up, because honestly I don't believe any of us suffer from irrationality when it comes to posting our views regarding Bandini on this forum. Your humorous remark is actually far from humorous.

On another note, Tin I agree, this female protagonist has the odor of a typical BT chick. I find them rather frightening, they are so cliche it hurts to watch, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that our wonderful maha rani Santu WONT solve a problem, hence making her a real person and a believable heroine.

She did Sukhi and I was hoping to see more of her normal behaviour but then she tried to solve the problem herself and not even confiding to her friend, i.e. the bridegroom's mother who had told Santo to inform her about Kadu's feelings and of course she could not inform her Malik but what about Bapuji? Here again she tried to solve the problem all by herself...a typical BT heroine....

GOSH...!!! Such a swiping remark, painting everyone in one BROADDDDDDDDD brush stroke. Gee..I wonder what kind of brush stroke I can lump this kind of comment in 😆?...hmmm...😆.
Atlast this forum is not filled with constant moaning, groaning and mind numbing negativity 24/7 like I have seen (and thus ran away feeling violently SICK) in another forum 🤢. There is structure here and MOST IMPORTANTLY IT IS A POSITIVE AND A VERY WELCOMING FORUM 😊. Here, we don't railroad people for not liking a character. We still don't have regular MODS and we are managing to get along rather nicely without pulling each others hair off 😊. People coming here from down in the duldrums type, down and out AND, MAJORLY pathetic forums, can learn a lesson or two from here 😳. We even contain our irrationality in one place only and not create messy floods all over - again a BIG learning point 😆. Final lesson for today, there should always be room for a bit of irrationality because as far as I know, this place is here to chill, relax, have fun and masti AS WELL 😊. Its not work or education where there are calls for constant rationality or is it ? Purely my POV 😳.
