prachu...machar is not santo's mother. so it doesn't matter if u kill the machar...the point is cow is sacred and a mother like figure to all hindus, i mean those who believe so.

Coming in late (as usual) Sukhs!

If I were the Sarpanch, then I would definitley not be taking the laws into my hands...and secondly, give a punishment that would be appropariate to the crime committed.

An eye for an eye...and a Cow for a Cow! You obviously cannot take a human being's life for an animal.(please don't mistake me, I am a long time member of SPCA and an ardent animal lover...but there is no comparison between a human life and an animal's life)

Or better still, make the culprit (I still think Hiten is out of this) do some community work for some time...

I hope whatever decision DM takes is a fair one, both for Mawdi's owners and for his own son!

Oh...😕

So now the decision lies with Santu?

She will obviously speak up for Hiten and save him...

But when that happens, the repurcussions will be ;

Nanaji, Khemi, Mongi and the Villagers will turn against her / will be upset

Hiten will end up confused...whether to hate Santu for taking his Mom's place or for saving him! Knowing Hiten, he will probably be even more furious with her for trying to help him out!

This will be the turning point for Ba! She obviously adores Hiten and when Santu saves him, she will definitley stop looking at Santu as a competition to her daughter and instead as her son-in-law's new bride.

DM! Now if this gesture from Santu doesn't steal his heart, dunno what else will!

But I am still very taken aback by the whole hanging bit! That's a bit too exaggerated in a show as realistic as Bandini!
