A relationship that has been through the lowest of lows and the highest of highs, with both of them coming out stronger, with uncondiotional love, trust between them, finding middle ground, according to me is a gem of a relationship... A person doesn't have to be portrayed as perfect as AB was.. I think DM-Santo relationship will be completely different from the RB-P one, but at the same time it will be as beautiful...

Brilliant post Bavie sis...
Bandini is like RR said a breathe of fresh air...for him as an actor and us as an audience. He created the whole older guy marrying younger woman trend, with Rishabh Bajaj...and he was sooo amazing in it...that we got several clones after that. However, I think DM is quite different. DM is still in love with his dead wife...and like Mru said, there won't be a triangle or ONS, or multiple marriages...the story is simple...it is the adjustments made in a marriage to make it successful. I was fascinated by Rishabh and Prerna's effort to make their marriage a success...and now this is different...they both come from different backgrounds...most important caste like Hema ben said. So now how will DM accept her and how will she accept him, and will change him...and then how they will fall in love is going to be an amazing journey. The story's focus itself is marriage, and I am loving it. It intrigues me too. It's gonna be awesome fun.
I am loving the cast and the crew and the story...change is great! hehe

Sammie
In this series, again Mr. Roy has started to create a trend with his character as DM.

Yes its going to be a beautiful journey with this two totally distinct characters 😃
I am loving the performance of Mr. Roy as Dharamraj M, the Malik of Dharampur. 😛
DM is in love with his dead wife, loved the scene where he is talking to her portrait. Amazing how Mr. Roy enacted it, it was so natural. I really forget I am watching an actor performing a role.
From the Dhamkis he gives to Jagmohan, to the way he talks to Virat, and the way he moves as DM, everything from his eye movements to his dialogue delivery, he is DM. 😛

I am loving him in this role as DM. 😃

Yes, behena, i am looking forward to this intriguing journey of this older man and his young wife, two strangers in all aspects of life thrown together in a situation. 👏

I know right behena...and Mr. Roy is managing to do that without those effects of dhadaam dhoodum, zoom in zoom out like you mentioned...hehe, I feel like the character is brought to life. It feels like there is truly a DM somewhere in a village called Dharampur...and we are watching his life with his soon to be be wedded wife, Santo LIVE on television...hehe, i mean it's like DM really exists.

ek seedhi saadi vaat- Bandini is awesome!

Haan, Ek seedhi saadi vaat, Bandini is a small gem. Bingo, you got it, now, we will witness a somewhat reality tv show. You know why it does seem that way, because ALL the departments from casting, to acting to the technicians have done a tremendous job in bringing this little "Heera" to our screens. Most of all the cast is amazing!! From Pinakin, to Jagmohan, to Virat, to the Photographer, to Nanaji. 👏 👏 👏

I know it's a complete package...hats off to the entire team of Bandini...it doesn't look like television, it's more like a documentary, a movie.

U bet Behena.
Bandini has the feel and look of a major motion picture. The people I have recommended it so far to are simply loving it, I am telling you even the "Ba's" of the community. 😆
Bechari, Khemi, nu shu thashe?
Santo, bechari, ketli dukhi..and so forth.
ALL the Nanijis, and Dadiji's are getting into it. What's interesting to observe for me is when they are watching it, they start reminiscing about their lives. When that song Dikri to Parki thappan kahevay, came on screen, they started to sing it.

Will he deal with his contempt right there and then or take his prejudices with him later on. Is he fully aware of what he is doing? oR will Greed (he wants his business order filled before dawn) blind him to do something he is not fully aware of doing?

Exactly Bavie. Right now this man is blinded by his greed and ego and wants to get the consignment done come hell or high water. All his actions right now are completely opposite to what he would be doing otherwise. That is what the Guruji pointed out to after observing DM interacting with Nanaji in front of the workers. Did he really mean it? Or was it an act to elevate himself in the eyes of the workers? Because as soon as he gets out of the room and in the corridor - his body language changes completly (Kudos to Ronit Roy for that - he did it brilliantly). The reality of he has put himself and Santo into will hit him only after the consignment is out the door and his Mahayavanshi Works gets the order. It is then that he is going to question himself - How Did I Allow That To Happen To Me? Now What?

Yes, Hema, its going to hit him. Remember that scene at the canteen with Jagamohan, the one where JM puts a fly in the rice and tries to create some mischief, DM realises what JM is doing and he grabs the plate of rice, goes and gets more rice and sits down to eat. Something like that can happen, to get his order ready on time, this guy will do anything. LOL.
I loved the scene with the Guruji as well, I think there was a hint of contempt on Guruji's face, his dialogue was so facetious- I think Guruji knows what DM is upto. I love when he advised DM to get married bc his jupiter is in affliction. LOL. Somehow Guruji is hinting that DM really does need a wife. Those were some gr8 scenes to watch again, again. Like you said RR expressions, body language is brilliant in scenes like these.
