Arre wah Mombs - you got all of them and translated them too! Me too did not realise there were so many gujju dialogues. As you rightly mentioned - one just gets lost in the episode.

The dialogue which you said you could not get it - does get muffled but it sounds something like

khara che gharna badha (people in this house are too much)

though i am not 100% sure

Mombs,

As a thank you for the Gujju dialouges and translations, here is a savory something for you...and I think its DM's favourite too...😉😆
Just loved the interactions in the vernacular language, it adds so much weight to the characters and ofcourse, authenticity too!
Thanks once again, enjoy the virtual Dhoklas!

PS: Mrinal's surname is Jain...could be from Gujrath also!
PPS : Btw, have you noticed, in all the interactions that DM had with Santu...he has always spoken to her in Gujrathi?

Looking forward to tomorrow - will Mr. & Mrs. Mahyavanshi make it to the award ceremony? Or will Motiben succeed in foiling it?

Will Hiten get influence by the Jaggu-Virat duo? Or will Surekha step in and foil their plans? Or maybe Jaggu will get punched by Hiten? Hiten may have his own reasons for bitterness and resentment but I wonder if he will allow the likes of Jaggu to speak ill of his father?

Hemaji,
I think it was mentioned somewhere that Dharampur is just 30 kilometers away from Surat and hopefully if DM has been charitable enough to build good roads between both the places, it wouldn't be so difficult to reach there...also, during the wedding night, Santu was ferried to and from Dharampur in a matter of hours!
I hope Hiten doesn't get influenced by Jaggu and Virat and gives a solid punch to Jaggu and shut him up for good. But I think it will somewhere in the middle...he will tell both of them to mind their own business, but wont' be able to get all that said out of his mind and actually end up believing all that (Which as a matter of fact is the truth, only Jaggu will spice it up a bit!)
Yes, even I would like to see Hiten standing up for his father in front of his arch-rivals. Whatever problem he might have with DM can be sorted out between them (And hopefully Santu won't try to play Florence Nightingale again) without any third party interference!
I like this Hiten chap and the actor playing the character is quite good in the role! Maulik looks creepy to say the least and Kadambari looks like someone who can be influenced any which way. The two small kids are cute, but don't have any say in the matter!
Just loved the whole, 'Ishaaron Ishaaron mein' situation between Mrs. and Mrs. M! Both RR and Aasiya have wonderfully expressive eyes and an excellent command over their body language!

Toh Chakri le lo, problem kya hain...😉😆
Dhokla is such a typically Gujrathi dish, that whenever they show a scene between DM and Santu (after their relationship improves) where she is cooking something for him, I am quite sure it will be Dhokla...😆
Soft, Juicy and Fluffy Dhoklas served with DM's favourite Elaichi Chai to him in his study while Pinu Kaka looks greedily on...😆

LOL!!! now we are talking. 👏

Gawd, now I am going to be dreaming about chakris as I go off to bed. Almost midnight here!

Bechara Pinukaka, itna bhi na satao unko. He is supposed to be Santo's god-father na. She should feed him some too as she makes all these delicious gujju stuff for Malik. 😉

yup Dhokla toh DM will get. but he may also ask for khandvi. Another popular dish that I believe RR also likes!! HEHE...so I am sure he will slip in the request at some point. 😆

These are absolutely the strong points of both these actors and therefore I am hoping the directors and creative heads make full use of it and give us some excellent scenes between the two characters of DM-Santu. I am sure the casting and creative team must have noticed this too and so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Also hats off to Aasiya to have taken on a role where she has to play the character who is mom to grown up kids, within 3 weeks of the serial starting. Other actresses have issues and are so scared of being typecast when they have to play mom after leaps and such. Here this 17 year old debutante has hit the ground running. Kudos to her.

True Hema.

So many actresses have left their respective shows after leaps as they don't want to play moms of grown kids. And here is Aasiya...grown kids toh chodo, we are talking about kids older than her!!

And for a new comer, she is doing a marvelous job with the best of the best in the industry. Truly...kudos to her.

Very true and it is very commendable of the actress to do this role. I can imagine the anxiety she must have felt, playing mom to kids older to you literally not just story wise, but in reality too is a very difficult thing. I am curious to see how Santo's relationship evolves with the older bunch. I mean she cant really play their mother for all practical purposes, she is younger to them. I guess as things get better she might become more of their friend and guide.
