Well Mara, i m sure...that by the time we get to the Rambha phase...it's gonna be okay LOL
filhaal toh we haven't even reached the DM singing "dheere dheere se meri zindagi mein aanaa, dheere dheere se iss dil ko churaana" phase.
M & M, Haan, we are sweet too! LOL!!!Rambha is the name of a mythological Apsara (the Indian equivalent of a fairy, albeit not as chaste and virtuous as the Western one, rather a naughty girl who set about troubling pious souls!) who tried to seduce the great sage, Vishwamitra when he set about doing penance.Indra Devta who was threatened by Vishwamitra's powerful penance sent Rambha, who was supposed to be one of the most beautiful, accomplished and attractive Apsara's of his heavenly court down to Earth to seduce Vishwamitra and break his penance.Despite all her physical allure, she could not succeed in doing so and got cursed by Vishwamitra and turned into a stone statue.
Ok, now it make sense. The picture is clear! 😆The comparison of a wife to Rambha is made because of her allure and well...her specialization in nocturnal activities...(Ab khud hi samaj lo...this is a family forum, cannot go into detailed description!)😆
Samjhi gayi....samjhi gayi...bas say no more...😳The exact translation of 'Shayneshu Rambha' means like 'Rambha in Bed'! (Shayan is the Sanskrit equivalent of Bed / Sleeping)
Thanks for this too...didn't know about Shayan either!I hope this helps!SoapiePS: Just in case you are curious, the work of Rambha was accomplished to some degree by Menaka, another apsara in Indra Devta's court and out of the short-lived union between Vishwamitra and Menaka, was born the beautiful girl, Shakuntala...
I couldn't watch the entire episode of the day, caught one scene, the last one.. and wow.. what a scene... Dharamraj and his dharampatni.. WOW, no words can describe that scene... DM all angry, goes charging upstairs to the store room, and santu scared moves to go inside, when DM stops her, and asks her why she told his kids what happened.. And she, so innocently, so, i really dont have words to describe asiya's performance today, falls at his feet, and explains the entire situation... DM goes from angry, to understanding and then melting in a moment... And asks her to get up, says its not her fault and that his kismat is only khota... What a scene.. followed by better stuff, he goes and confronts his moti ben... Which was the icing on the cake... Though, santu is probably going to bear the brunt of this, courtesy Taruben...
