I don't see any scope for Anandi because they will never let go of family drama.When it comes to family members Anandi will always submit to their will and goes against them only when they come in the way of her principles.

So all we will get is an Anandi controlled by people like Dsa or emotionally manipulated by the likes of Mangala.

Mangala's role has no scope because the character could not develop on it's own.

Mangala's story rode on Anandi and Nandini.

Anandi with her children in a happy space makes for a sweet story which can get predictable after a while.

Unless they show Anandi as a strong powerful woman there is absolutely no scope for Anandi.

Nandini's character couldn't grow beyond that of Anandi's daughter.Don't think her character has a potential to be the face of the show.

Just posting the details of the article as below:

Amongst India's longest running shows, 'Balika Vadhu' has been responsible for touching the 'risky' concept of child marriage and portraying it on the screen for the past eight years.

After a lot of buzz about the show going off-air, the latest we hear is that the show is set to revamp itself with a new star cast as it will be showing a fifteen year leap.

It is said that the leap will portray a protagonist, Anandi, fighting the evils of child marriage...but of course, a totally NEW Anandi.

Considering this, some pivotal characters from the show will be shown dead, the protagonist Anandi will probably have a totally different fate altogether.

The actors playing Anandi, Daadi Saa and Mangala which are Toral Rasputra, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Surekha Sikri respectively will be soon making an exit from the show.

We contacted Rajeshwari, who said, "Yes, my character in the show will be dead and that's how the role ends for me."

On being asked about the fate of Anandi's character, that whether Toral is leaving the show, she said, "That is news to me. I don't really know about Toral's or any other charater's fate in the show. The writers must have worked out something as I have stopped shooting for the past 13 days or so."

She was asked about on her journey, to which she said, "I have been on the show for just a year, however, I salute the writers who have done a phenomenal job of presenting this story for eight years. It is absolutely commendable. And it has been a fantastic journey for me!"

Looks like Anandi will undergo a plastic surgery to justify face change.

Considering it is 15 years leap, The grown up kids will be between 26 - 32 of age.

This means Anandi will be 55, and will have to be played by an actress that suits that age.

So either Shakti, Aasiya and Toral will all be replaced to show the mature faces (like they once replaced Sugna and Shyam). Or Anandi might undergo plastic surgery.

Of course M's character had to exit. Her staying in story post the re-union won't make sense. Either she comes back to senses and happily moves out of N's life or she dies of her mental shocks and attacks. But as per the article, she dies.

Dsa's exit also makes sense, her character has aged well.

Ab yeh log Anandi ko kaunsi nayi musibat denge?

Why don't they just end it with Anandi happily moving to Singapore with her kids and her actual family?

If not, I hope by the time the leap is introduced, Anandi moves out of BH.

Looks like they haven't actually decided about Anandi's fate.

About two weeks ago it was said that the show might take a leap with grown up Nandini taking Anandi's place and it was reported at that time that Anandi may not be there.

If they are taking a leap of 15 years means Nandini and Shivam may be played by established faces.

The channel seems to be very attached to the show and Anandi 😛

TB also reported the same thing.. Still its confusing what they are going to do with Anandi 😕 Another protagonist named Anandi story may not be confirmed, its just for the time being till they decide what to do with Anandi.

If they are going to end the Anandi which is there from the first episode, hope the character gets a deserved and dignified exit. If they are going to retain her, they need to give her self-earned political/social powers else it will not make any sense.

DS dying will be a painful thing to watch..

Mangala also dying, I think its fair. Its always good to finish a character when it has not much to add in the story, instead of turning it into a piece of furniture 😛 That way characters atleast have a graceful exit.

All the best to Toral, Rajeshwari and Surekhaji.. The three were powerful woman characters on the show.

Will have no emotional connect left if they are really going to take the leap, even if Anandi and Shiv's kids will be the protagonists, so don't really care what they do with the new version of the show. But will always remember BV 1.0 as something that I enjoyed watching over years and that gave me some wonderful memories, sans the post-leap story.

Anandi Dsa followed by J and S are the characters which had connect with the viewers.

The rest of the characters even though they were interesting and gave us some wonderful stories their exit didn't really affect.

Dsa's exit will be painful to watch.Both the character and the actress are like two pillars on which the show ran.

Toral has not come out with a statement yet and neither the channel or PH have come out with their plans for Anandi.

If they end Anandi's character the end should be a fitting end that an iconic character like Anandi deserves.

I would rather have a leap without Anandi in it. Leap with Anandi means there will be another tragic twist to her story. Anandi for many of us viewers has become more like a person whom we have been watching her from the time she was a child and less of a fictional character. Don't know how the viewers will take it if they introduce another tragic twist to her story.

Post leap we waited for Anandi to re unite with her daughter and that's what kept us glued to the show now they will introduce another twist to keep viewers hooked🤢😡

Without that emotional connect the show will be just any other show which I watch for writing characterisation and performances.

Latest Trp is 2 increased

BV is on top 4 on colors channel

the only show which trp increased rest all shows decreased
