No Appy, not the audience, the cvs IMO are the biggest defaulters, was bv supposed to be a show which is 'not as bad as' the other terrible shows,...what a downgrade from a classic/ thought provoking show to a monotonous drama, n who is happy now,..? Show fans? NO..character fans? NO..actor/ actress fans? NO
i would say that audience (whether watching for some growth in characters or for nitpicking n finding faults) is the victim here , cvs made a complete mockery of the loyalty being shown, which they probably dont deserve.,
If we are watching the show we are watching it because something about it appeals to us and when the appeal is lost we move on or we ignore the things in the show which don't appeal to us and just watch the show for the things we find appealing. That's what most of us do any ways.
But if we surf Indian channels what are the things that we come across?
What kind of shows which are doing well in terms of business?Don't want to take names of any shows because we all know what kind of shows work with majority of Indian audiences. Why are we not watching those shows and why are some of us still watching this show?
I think the answer is there in front of us.
Probably CVs know that they have a section of audience who still watch the show because they don't find other shows appealing or they still find something appealing about the show and looks like for them that proportion audience is big enough to generate steady income.
But does it mean I want this show to go on endlessly? No.I would like to see the show end on a happy note with the writer getting to tell a story that he wanted to.Me wanting to see the show end or wanting it to go on will it make a difference? No.
Can we blame the CVs and the channel if they decide to extend the show banking on the loyal audiences they have rather than starting a new show which may or may not succeed?
I am not siding with the CVs 😛😆
I am only trying to see their POV which makes it easier to accept things and decreases the frustration levels IMO
I will put the blame on the audiences.Ultimately they are the ones who are responsible for a show to pack up or go on for ever.If the show is not meeting the expectations why watch it? Why not stop watching it so that the makers get the point and shut the shop?
If one keeps complaining that the show is not giving them what they want and still watch the show why would the makers take those rants seriously?
I have my own expectations from the show and they are met some times and sometimes not.
I may be watching this show because this show suits my tastes better than the other shows that are running currently. If the show even when it is not at it's best but still suits your taste then why crib endlessly about it?
All I know is the day it stops appealing to me I will stop putting my money as well as time in watching the show or cribbing about it endlessly day after day.
