Well said.Completely agree.Watch it if you like it or leave it if you don't like it.
No point in bashing channel/CVs they are only doing what is right for them after all it is their bread and butter while it is just entertainment for us.

From TOI-
The lady who blamed everyone for their exit herself quitting because of creative differences 😲😆

After a successful eight-year run, Balika Vadhu seems to have hit rough weather. The show's director Siddharth Sengupta and writers Purnendu Shekhar and Gajra Kottary have opted out over creative differences with the producers. Meanwhile, with the serial set to take a time leap, actors like Surekha Sikri (Dadisa) and Rajeshwari Sachdev too will not be a part of the new story. Also, whether lead character Toral Rasputara (Anandi) will continue with the show remains to be seen. A source said, "If the show takes a leap, Toral will quit. I don't see why she would want to play a senior citizen on the show. The makers perhaps want to take the leap because there's a certain fatigue factor which has set in, as the show has been dragging for a while now."

Is this what GK feels about the show?
Wow... good to know that the makers realise this "there's a certain fatigue factor which has set in, as the show has been dragging for a while now."

As per the TOI news posted by a member, below is what is even the writers feel about the show even though it is their bread and butter.
"there's a certain fatigue factor which has set in, as the show has been dragging for a while now."

I wonder why you always blame the audience for pointing out the same, and if not expect them to switch shows and channels?

I would also like to know that why the consumers (audience in this case) is expected to put up with what is being shown or call it quits, but not question it ? (as,suggested in your posts)

I am glad to read the above statement coming from GK and PS. I now hope that, atleast the audience won't be blamed and people who express their views online won't be told "to see from Maker's POV and accept what they dish out without questioning"

Thanks Russhme with Purnendu Shekhar Siddharth Sengupta quitting the show there will be nothing worth our time.

For me the writers and the two directors Siddharth Sengupta and Pradeep Yadav were also big factors who kept me glued to the show.

Now with the exit of this phenomenonally talented team I don'tthink the show has any chance.

Hope Toral quits the show too.

As every second serial is taking a leap, it is better actors and actresses prepare themselves for leaps if they want to stay. I feel actors or actresses should be sportive enough to look old with some style. After all it is only acting. Once they quit, almost all of them vanish into thin air. Everyone can't be as lucky as SRK.

TFS Artee
Russhme posted this in the other thread.

I appreciate the creative team PS GK and Siddharth Sengupta for the stand they have taken.

This is the team that gave us the wonderful and memorable characters and a good story for better part of eight years.
BV owes it's success to this team.

Now I hope Anandi makes her exit from the show too. Don't think anyone other than creators of Anandi can do justice to Anandi's character.

TFS Artee...
Articles on BV are confusing the one in the rival site talks abt a new Anandi as in a different show other than BV..

The TOI one talks abt CVs quitting --and question mark over Anandi/Toral's continuation..

In all this somewhere I feel - for whatever reasons - the serial makers never could fully explore the potential of the characters that they created especially Anandi and Shiv - and that is the tragedy..there can be so many other social workers and IAS officers - but not Anandi and Shiv!!

I do not think that the issue is about looking old after a leap.

If the story is gripping enough, has a properly sketched character graph for a young actor playing 3 or 4 times his/her age, has enough layers in the role to make it worth his/her while, I do not think an actor will mind.

But if the actor is going to be used in 2-minute flashes just for continuity with looks and character, without much contribution to the story, do not see where will be the motivation unless an actor is really hard up for work.
