It seems that BV team hates city folks and so they are making everyone rural.

I think BV team finds itself out of depth when handling subjects which are more confined to upper class urban dwelling community.

They present the scenarios in rural setting very well - they do seem to understand those better IMO.

They did try to show problems faced by an urban woman through Sanchi but theyhave not been very successful in that and they tried to handle predatory women like Rasika too which was not handled properly.

So i think it is better they stick to what they are comfortable with.

Rural setting there are many ways women are oppressed not just Bal Vivah - hope they tackle other issues too.

No ways, the CV's are hell bent on recreating BV 2 with new cast, they dont want to tax their creative brains too much 😛😛

Sad to see kids suffer for the mistakes made by their immature parents.

Anandi, Ganaga still in ghaghra, but they did show other ladies in nice sarees - (perhaps Sarita) that look quite urban.

I agree this is the worst way to take the story forward. Nandini's in-laws dress like Rajasthani tribals, especially the jewelry. Some times back, I posted that they should show Akhera Singh getting scared by police checking and abandon Nandini, who can then be picked up by some childless couple. They can do her bal-vivah as per their own custom. This bal-vivah in the family of kidnapper and still Anandi could not find her girl in 11 years with all the resources at her hand is unbelievable. Then they show the girl being ill-treated but nowhere she looks or behaves like ill-treated girl. Why make the boy and his family villains to show ill-effect of bal-vivah. Even if the boy and his family are angels - bal-vivah is still wrong. But BV cannot come out of cliches.

Exactly back in 2008 it was a never seen before concept...so fresh, so the connect with little Anandi was instant...but now after 8 years when this child marriage angle has been exploited from all possible angles through various characters over the course of the years...Nandini tracks looks FORCED and unappealing...and something is terribly off about the girl playing Nandini...she doesn't have that innocence in her face...looks so mature...maybe the PH should consider replacing her with someone who fits as AnSh daughter...this is the stupidest way to drag the show. This show needs to end. BV is going the Uttaran way, the show doomed after focus went to Ichha's daughter after the leap...I hope the same happens here too, hopefully soon.

I'm not liking Nandini mainly because I feel they are trying to make her new Anandi. And by bringing a torturous, more backward thinking family they are making it look like Anandi was better off and Nandini more bechari😕. Atleast that's what I feel and that makes me indifferent to Nandini.
Even if everything was fine with family and groom, still Bal vivah is wrong. CVs look like they are saying ppl in the Bal Vivah are wrong and not the system of Bal Vivah itself. Same mistake they did in JaAn case. Instead of showing JaAn romance 1st and then Gauri track, they should have shown grown-up Jagya going to college and falling in love with another girl in normal way. Then they would have proved Bal Vivah wrong. Now again Nandini's in-laws are more cruel and groom seems violent. Where are they proving Bal Vivah wrong in this? They never showed even one bal vivah wrong inspite of ppl being good.

Bal Vivaah is wrong...period...kidnapping a child and performing Bal Vivaah is worse and on top of all that showing cruel in laws is the icing on the cake, the CV's are trying to garner as much sympathy for Nandini, but it is failing miserably, want to flip the channel whenever the new BV family comes on air. Tooo much negativity
