A section of us here, who still watch the show are doing same in anticipation., that something great will indeed happen to Anandi towards the end of the show...we will see her in her rightful place.

Our hopes are not lost yet.

In the mean while, the deliciousness of Anandi - Shiv , as well as the assumptions of Jagdish as per his initial character sketch are keeping the interest in the show alive...this is even after moving towards completion of six years of the show.

It's very natural, that some may not find the show as interesting after six years, find the content repetitive, regressive..., which indian soap does not ? ...but BV continues to hold its place wrt the channel...and in hearts of at least a 'handful of audience' ( am not much into trp's and numbers - but I suppose this is the yardstick to measure the sale ability , content and quality of the show...🤔 )

As for the rest, who does not bother about the show anymore...not at all an issue to bother...there are lot more eye candies and love stories and inspirational stories and trp garners and melodramas around, in the wide world of hindi soaps

So, I still say...

Go...Anandi...Go...!

There are many who liked the sarpanch track but the question did it bring in business???

This is not the only place where TV shows discussed there are other places too where it is discussed and the views there are very different from the ones expressed here.May be you should try reasoning with them

I still stand by my word when it comes to Shiv He came in a little too early on in the story that too because CVs wanted to bring him in episode 1000.Wasn't that a filmy entry????Far removed from reality???? How did the sensible intelligent people like it then????

This is the same forum where people supported the idea of Dadisa forcing Anandi to get married to Shiv what does that make of them????

Just because some people in this forum want to see her establish herself as social worke and make an identity for herself at this given point that doesn't mean they oppose her entry into politics

Why should Anandi get into politics because of some stupid twist in the tale??????

Jagya's track just started now how do we know what kind of a politician they are going to show through him????

Why assume that the track has gone for Jagya so Anandi won't get it????

For all that we know there may very well be Jagya Vs Anandi track

I don't know about media and mass communications but when we go on our health education trips to the interiors we have to talk their language we have to go along with them and their thought processes to make them listen to what we got to say.

To explain the benefits of modern medicine we had to make use of local gurus and spiritual leaders many times even if you want to tell a story very different you have to chose a familiar way of telling story.

But when it finally happens, it goes elsewhere which strengthen the conservative argument that in the end only men can be in power politics no matter how much better qualified the women are than them
If politics was a no-no, the CVs should have never made A a sarpanch.

I would differ with you at bold. While Politics would have been one of the natural career progression for Anandi, it wouldn't have been the only progression track for her.
After being a sarpanch, when Anandi had to move to Udaipur, she could have very well joined, NGO, field of economics or even media. In a way I am glad, that she started her own NGO. But ofcourse the way CVs have handled her career and her personality post marriage, nothing is convincing. The current Anandi does not reflect the same powerful traits of sarpanch Anandi who talked about neher project and handled villagers.
Besides which, I personally think Anandi is not suitable to become a politician. She is way too emotional and lacks practical / tactful approach to become one.
On the other hand, J was never exepcted to get in to politics, but the way he got into it sounds convincing, and I don't think it is reflecting male-dominance / only men can be in politics.
In my POV, he is a chosen one because currently there is no one better than him in Jiatser. He is the new hope and he has become one through his deeds as a doctor, just as Anandi had become sarpanch through her good work as a teacher / social service.

@misshesh as i said i'm happy to be in a minority. I definitely was not convinced by the way he became a candidate. Nobody recommended him except DS who -- at least judging by the indulgent and proud way she looked at him -- did it out of pota moh.

In my opinion the best candidate, if not A, was Bhairon-- still youngish, very sensible and very mature . If he had been given the track the actor wouldn't have quit.

The logic that Bhairon is busy but not jagya who performs miracle surgeries does not wash with me. My basic angst is about making women do the soft things and then finding some justification for it like why only politics, why not something else etc? Why j, then, why not Bhairon? And why make A sarpanch in the first place?

The argument that greatness will happen to her eventually is too iffy. How long will it be before it happens? I can't wait eternally, and as Keynes said, in the long run we are all dead. I at least may not be alive to see it considering the things lined up for her, like fixing saanch's problems.

I agree about Jagya being the candidate is still indigestible for me too. He is a doctor not someone who has any experience in matter's of his village and he was not a surpanch as well.

@bold, +1 well said and agree with your points.

Politics is really different from all the professions, in this field you have to get dirty even if you do not want too.

I even thought Anandi would be the one to be able to go to politics one day, as she has some experience in this field.

s.

Jagya does miracle surgeries then what Anandi do ? which miracle surgery Jagya has done so far ? Can you tell me one? while Anandi has done miracle just now waking up Gulli from coma Anandi risking her life foolishly running to save people and at end other people coming to rescue her The jyoti's case This all wash well with you She is perfect candidate but not Jagya ?

Bhairon was best for sarpanch post too why you didn't complain then Anandi is not suitable candidate ?if Bhairon not been there Anandi would have resigned from her post ? Because Anandi is emotional fool She flowed with Sumi's words and trembled to stand against her own family member This guts only Bhairon had who stood against his son and sometimes Maa saa too for right so why no complains Anandi was not best for Sarpanch post ? Village people they just flow with who helps they become their hero lesser they think about who is perfect and who is not

and more over isn't Bhairon a Man ? Just recently you were doing man vs woman now suddenly Bhairon came ?Is he a woman ?

so all i see Jagya is the problem ? Othes men are fine ? because If Singhs care for him as Sanchi falsely blamed him Anandi become orphan according to you while Anandi was all responsible for own miseries there and Singhs disowned their son for her but yet again she became orphan for you when they showed little care for son Singhs should disown their son then Anandi will be their beti only???

Problem why cvs made Jagya a doctor He should be made farmer while Anandi doctor ?No problem no question why Shiv is made an IAS officer It is perfectly fine if he is made collector but problem is with Jagya how dare he been made a doctor Injustice with Anandi

Now politics Everyone is fine just not Jagya so just say i have problem with Jagya only I cannot tolerate him 🥱

Jagya so far i have not seen done any miracle surgery ?He earned respect from villagers wiping their hatred by selflessly helping them not because he is BH ka beta The hospital is just not for him but it is Dadisaa and Bhairon's dream that Bhairon couldn't fulfill himself If you talk about family connections for Jagya then why forgetting it for Anandi? This Singh family has helped her in each and every step financially and emotionally She didn;t achieve everything on her own earning but thats ok for Jagya becomes Baap ka maal ? Family connections ? Dadisaa ka moh ?

wow what fair logics I am seriously amazed Asking about equality but equality is not visible in posts anywhere

Bhairon is not lead of show He was best for sarpanch post too Don't forget whatever morals Anandi learnt are from him the most but Cvs are telling this story from Anandi and Jagya's point of view so obviously Bhairon won't become sarpanch or MLA Whose story it is The story will told through them and whats the crime if cvs are showing younger more educated generation coming forward instead of less educated old generation Bhairon is also grandpa The actor might look youngish but character is not so young now

so the logic is a doctor cannot become a politician ? so don't know how so many doctors manage to be one ?what great experience is needed to be a politician ? What a person should be doing ?and i never understand this logic if you won't come in field then how will you gain experience ? The best person then is Panchsaa Has more experience then even Anandi too ?

I was really disappointed by the way Anandi's character is being shaped in his serial. I wished
She completed her education at a master's level and took to teaching in a serious way. They want to
Potray A as a a super woman but it is so superficial. She is not shown to have any focus on one
Thing except pleasing DS. Jagia's character is shown with lot of focus in what he wants to
do( i thank cvs for it).
Today i read about the woman who is likely to replace Modi as chief minister of Gujarat. I was greatly
Impressed. She is Anandiben Patel who was a widow and organized a organization for widows and
Got her master's degree in science and served as a teacher. Entered politics and performed very well.
She also prevented lot of child marriages. I like to see more women like this who come up very
Well on their own merit and behave like good women unlike the scoundrel women politicians we
See. These are real life Anandis who are lot better than the Anandi on screen.

There are a several things that have not gone right with Anandi's professional progress. Lately, her character lacks adequate depth as far as her professional endeavors are concerned and as a result these have ended up as mere afterthoughts on the screen. I want to see an Anandi equally passionate about her work. I am sure many of us have struck that right balance between home and work. Then why can't Anandi ? I won't call her a super woman, it is very much possible, she has an excellent support system around her, ofcourse discounting the sporadic noises like dadibua and Sanchi.

I agree with @Missesha - makers have to make it look convincing. viewers like me might not appreciate Anandi entering politics at this juncture primarily because she has already taken up certain initiatives..With Anandi, I am more interested in watching her slow and steady journey to much elevated professional heights.

@Jan50 - You have quoted a perfect example, for such great personalities, entering politics was an accident. So why not Jagya? Why so much bias against him ? Why make it look like a gender war? He needed a strong track to sustain interest and so far am very convinced he is going the right way,
I want to see some good tracks on MLA Jagya. It is my strong belief that medical doctors have a lot to contribute towards healthy politics. Dr.Harsha Vardhan is a real life example, our next likely health minister, and there are several such personalities from medical field who have made a significant mark in politics.

I have nothing against Jagya, the post the cv's should have shown him to contest is for health minister. I do not believe MLA is that post.

Yes in any field you need experience, Jagya would not have become a good doctor if he had no experience.

I would like to give an example of Imran Khan whose actual profession was of cricketer, he was extremely popular in his field. In politics it took him more then 10 years to finally get his party get some seats.

Anandi has become a caricature as a character who should we blame cv's or the audience who likes to see OTT family drama and the heroine has to only solve family dramas and not do any constructive for society or be in a profession.

I should not expect a bit of reality in Indian dramas.
