I posted this on a different forum where a rape victim has been identified, her picture shown on TV with the error compounded by slandering of the victim and her family members.
BV has portrayed the trial in an abominably sloppy manner, with victory achieved entirely by VKabra's magnanimity. The plot did not even attempt basic investigation of the case not to mention cross-examination of critical witnesses.
The best court room drama often centres on scintillating cross-examination. What I'm trying to say is if CVs were looking for drama, they could have got drama and more through the clash of two brilliant lawyers. To a small extent this happened during the SaJa case.
For me, personally, there was only one consolation. The court room had only the members of the two families, the media was kept out and Sa's identity protected. So am thankful for small mercies.
But producers intending on such tracks ought to keep in mind the official guidelines.
