Anandi had packed her suitcase at once and was ready to leave when Jagya entered with Gauri. It was DS who had a heart attack and could not bear to see her leave.

Anandi was family of Singhs. She was married to Jagya.

She was not a stranger rescued from roads. Hence Singhs had attachment with her and stopped her from leaving.
She supported them emotionally when their son left. She restored their lost respect with her good work about the village. Or else Singhs were shamed in front of the entire village!

Don't drag Anandi in all discussions about Ganga.

She let him have the tirade 6 months ago with both barrels blazing ... and he only restrategizes NOW?
Jagya has to be a real dimwit to come to this conclusion now... he should have been thinking of this and demonstrated some foresight when it came to ganga's appointment... and he should have gradually eased her into the prospect of a job elsewhere.
I can understand if anandi yelled at him yesterday so he decided today... but six months later seems real odd. He led her on.

His first strategy was to move away from Jaitser to get over Ganga. After 6 months, he realizes he is unable to forget and move on and therefore needs a second strategy - to help her find a job elsewhere. Plus, not everyone thinks two steps ahead.

It's almost like he was expecting her to plead for a job with him ... saying "mere paas aur koi sahara nahi hai"

regarding self respect. It seems girls in love dont think of it.
sanchi is snubbed so many times by a serious Jagya and yet she goes on and on.

Now ganga is snubbed by Jagya directly and she got the message and quick to react. ganga did not give much thought to it as long as Jagya was extremely nice to her. His coming to Mangalore, gifting her a saree all these things gave some false hopes to her. Especially that saree.

I agree both ganga and Jagya cant be blamed considering the circumstances.

I rest my case with all I have said previously. Nothing to add.
I can only view ganga through my own lenses -
In Ganga's place - I would have gone back to Jetsar once, gone to the haveli and thanked everyone for having supported me at a place in my life. To show my gratitude for their having helped me. I would also have thanked sumitra out of courtesy.
I would have gone back to Doctor saa and thanked him for everything he has done in the past, even if I felt that he let me down at this one juncture (the job in Jetsar).
Personally, I think I would have already made my arrangements by now, for my own job.
But if I hadn't I would not have been quick to anger or upset, and would have accepted Jagya's offer of going to Jaipur, just because he is a known and safe person helping.
Otherwise, I would have told him that I appreciate his help, but Jaipur is not for me, and I prefer to find my own job and become independent after this.
In the event that I decided to stay in Mangalore, I most certainly would not be running after a person like Balachander to get a job as a nurse. someone who is obviously a gunda and an unknown stranger. I would approach one of the college professors who had taught me and ask them for help in getting a job.
Her actions, even the emotional ones don't even make sense to me.

For me as i see it

Ganga is not at all lacking in self respect ...just see her relation with Jagdish . He gave her LIFE . There is no ego , self respect or pretence in that relation , be it of love or otherwise . It is a truthful relation . Being with him makes her happy . Bas . It gives her utmost joy . She does not expect marraige , sex , money , ANYTHING from him . She just likes being there living her life with him encouraging her ...gives her something to look forward to . She can swallow his family's unfair or fair ire , or his fiancee's bitchiness so long as he is by her side . Today he indicated he too does not want her in his life and that was a blow to the poor girl ...her god left her . She was content living in the quarters , working in the hospital . So long as Daktarsaa was there . Her faith in him is touching .When she realised that even Daktarsaa was avoiding her that innocent faith was shaken . Immediately she gathered her dignity and moved out of his life herself .

Where emotions r truly interwoven , there is no ego or even self respect , faith is beyond that .

Neither do i think Jagya thinking she does not need me is weird . It is complex , bas . Reaction of a man in love . Part of him wants her to be independent but part of him wants her ALWAYS to be dependent on HIM . He wants the bird with the broken wing that he nursed to fly but he does not want it to forget him ...he would rather like it if it flies back and sits on his shoulder . U see , while nursing the bird he became hopelessly attached to it .😊

U r absolutely right, I really wonder how these people always find mistakes in Jagan 😲 they even surprise me sometimes.

Jagya is the one who wants her to join his hospital but these guys wants her to think about Sumitra but forget him ( the one who supported her throughout ) and wants her to refuse him šŸ˜•. Coz she got her nursing degree and become more independent so she has to leave the person who fought for her, who supported in her tough times. that is not self respect. That is ungratefulness.

yeah, like u said she wants to go back to her hometown and work in his hospital, she just need his encouragement nothing more from him. Now she was shaken by knowing that he is avoiding her so she was hurt, she cried but didnt let him know her tears and refused his new offer. That's what self respect means, atleast from my view 😊

Her emotional ones make sense to me because when we are emotionally upset, we take impulsive decisions.

Going to Jaitsar just to thank them is out of the question as all of them are not very happy to meet her. They may help her but they dont want her back as of now.

Thanking Sumitra. Ganga has done so many times but that stoneheart simply has become stone deaf too.

As for Balachander, ganga has seen only the positiveness of him and he carefully avoided showing his negative side. So trusting him is not such a big deal for an innocent ganga.

As for Jagya, his actions are very disappointing in the context of his so-called "redemption"
He gave big big speeches on his "usool" and "sahi vs. galat" and his "personal responsibility" and at the first sign of trouble he put his tail between his legs and ran.
All these big words "usool" etc. are tested when times are tough.
Anybody can say "I will not steal" this is my usool when they have a lot of money in their pocket.
The true test comes when there is no money in the pocket.
So usool is not something that you follow only when times are good. and at the first sign of anger from anandi or sumitra that you dump.
In addition, he has still not learned the value of communication.
Even if he didn't like anandi, in the context of her being his wife (atleast knowing that she thought he was his wife, whether he agreed to the child marriage or not)... he still had a responsibility to communicate to her that he was not feeling happy, here is what is going on in his life etc.. etc...
Same with ganga ... even if he had prefaced his Jaipur statement and request for marksheets to ganga with two sentences "Ganga, I know I offered you a job, but I am sorry, the current circumstances in my household with my mom and my wife-to-be don't allow for me to keep you here, will you please forgive me? May I find you a job somewhere else" ... that would still have been decent.
Once again he just glossed over his past promise without acknowledging it, or her understanding of the situation.
He is clearly the slimy skank that he always was.
