Ganga should not have refused Jagya's Jaipur offer.
Jagya is caring for her and Jaipur is in rajasthan.
I think she did the right thing. It may not be the correct move from a perspective of practicality.
But from a standpoint of self-respect it is good that Ganga refused the offer.
The way Jagya handled the whole Jaipur business was very, very cheap. Not nice at all.
When they had a pre-existing understanding that Ganga would come back to the Jetsar hospital and work there, then Jagdish had an obligation to come back and explicitly tell her that the understanding would no longer be possible because of saanchi and sumitra. This would be respectful.
When one says yes to something, then if it is not possible, one should also have the decency to come back and say no to it.
Here, he just swept his commitment to hiring her back in Jetsar under the rug, glossed over the whole thing, and suddenly started talking about Jaipur and his friend Umesh. Even though the reasons will be known to ganga why he is doing this -- at the same time, he should have addressed them even through one sentence.
The commitment to hire her in Jetsar was one born of friendship. The commitment to find her a job in Jaipur seems to be one born of obligation (atleast to Ganga it will seem).
And if he doesn't want her as a friend, then why should she, a person who has come first in the nursing college, take his obligation?
