Cherry - its actually interesting to have constructive discussions for a change...instead of the constant cry of replacement😊

Ok if newspapers and surroundings conveyed everything then why even broach the topic of child marriage - before BV, werent we all aware about it too??!!

On the graphic display of violence - the track was expected and not something that came out of blue - CVs do leave hints on potential tracks - it was there in the pipeline since the day Rats said that he will ruin J, Singhs, A <<that should be one track too - when he decides to take revenge from A IMO>> so I dont see it as a sudden trp cashing track...and Ratan Singh was a local don kinda guy - the attack was going to be crude and crass and not a well thought sophisticated attack!!

On other shows showing similar stuff?? I am not very sure if I have seen hostage drama elsewhere...

On MBA and G2 education - yes it lacked research, but isnt that much creative liberty expected?? - They cant go by the actual timeline of waiting for 2 years for Sa to complete MBA <<I cant tolerate her for 2 minutes - 2 years??!!>> and 6 years for G2??!!

It was A and S together who sent Sugna and Police <<that inspector is a SRS loyalist😊>> at the site - Padma's complain just seemed to confirm that something was wrong in BH...she added to it acc to me...not a saviour IMO!!

And the mixed reaction on the forum - IF mayb makes up some minute percentage of people watching the show - there are many who dont care about replacements and character analysis - show them interesting stuff - they watch or not - coz there is always a remote to change the channel...

Sorry but for me BV was ruined due to pathetic replacment...
People say show must go on ...but for me this phrase sucks big time
Imagine next day someone takes place of your Mom will u accept even though that person do same things ur mom did for u ???...Big NO

Thats it...and Jagya is Parallel lead now so i m least bothered

This is news to me Jagaya is parallel lead now because new lead has come who doesn't exist without female lead and The one who has story from childhood to present has become parallel because new main male protagonist had bal vivah parallel lead is having his own story but that is just side story because 4 years later a new lead came🤢 Bravo to such amazing logics🥱 Anandi was no longer Balika Vadhu when she married Shiv so at that time Ganga came automatically she became lead who is Anandi ? ( that happened in Prats reign )

@hiralshah169 Yes I was pretty much aware of child marriage before BV and was trying in my small ways to fight it...

Being a riot victim and having faced hostage type of situation in my childhood a few times I would certainly do not want to see such graphic display of violence thrown at my face at prime time and make me relive those memories and trauma. BV is telecasted at 8 pm, is a drama serial, and their CV's have always claimed that they depict social issues in a sensitive manner . But this time it was OTT drama.

There are people who have been victims of this type of situations and certainly would not have felt great watching this. If u say use remote and change the channel then I would say that what if u r flipping channels during commercial breaks and land up at such a scene then your situation is like a deer caught in headlights, u want to change the channel but cannot as ur mind playbacks ur own memories.

So, if BV Cv's claims to be different from others then they should have been wary and sensitive in their portrayal of track.

Yes other shows are running women oriented social issue tracks but I cannot give details here as it is BV forum...

Regarding Sanchi's MBA when did she completed her graduation and cleared MBA entrance, it is not an easy task. And for Ganga could not they show her educating herself at normal pace and making a living by doing some small scale business(like handicrafts,making pickles etc) that is what happens in reality in villages.Most of the village women are working and earning while doing small scale business. For this they easily get grants from banks too and can earn, has enough time to take care of their families and be independent also. Why do they want her to be nurse only just to pair her up with Jagya??? Would they show her complete her Nurse training in Manglore or just make her a nurse after she helps to deliver Gehna's baby??? And being a full time Nurse how would she be able to take care of her little child??? So, if in the name of creative liberty they make a mockery of education system then it is wrong for me...

I will repeat again only a single inspector or Sugna alone could not have saved the singhs. police force came only on Padma's complaint and and her statement that Ratan Singh was at haveli , so Padma is saviour. Anandi and Shiv might have alerted but real action was taken on Padma's complaint...

Regarding replacement for me Avika would be child Anandi and Pratyusha would be adult Anandi only...

I am also fed up of colors changing their leads frequently. So , have decided to use the power of remote and not watch any show of it... This episode also I only caught while flipping the channels and could not change because of the above said reason.And most of my other information regarding recent storyline of BV comes from written updates and discussions on forum.

For me BV has lost its essence and soul. I know u may not agree with most of my point and I with yours. So lets agree to disagree and end this discussion...

Yeah i know its a fictional show but i hate this mentality of PH that we are the one oh so ppl...How quickly they replace actors...Years back PH people used to think twice before replacing leads...Remeber Smriti Irani came back.in Kyunki when audeince rejected her replacmnt...
So i think Directors and PH guys shud get off their atitude and actors shud be given their credits too...

Having not actually watched this track, I am limited in terms of how much I can comment. One thing I will say, though, is that I think it's ridiculous that Ratan Singh could be shown to have a bunch of goons under his thumb. I'm pretty sure he was not introduced as somebody rich/influential/powerful! Someone like Heth Singh has the power to have goons etc. Rat was an ordinary man with an ordinary income as far as I'm aware. For the sake of sensationalism and regaining their lost TRPs, they took convenient leaps of logic and adopted cheap Ekta-like storylines. So no, in my opinion, the CVs do not deserve a pat on the back.

More than the CVs, I am disappointed in the audience on whom this tactic was actually successful... but I guess people have different tastes, and most viewers are not as invested in the quality of the show as we are... so I guess they must have seen the masaledaar promos of the haveli burning down and thought, "Oh, that looks exciting and interesting! Chalo dekh lete hai ke kya hoga BH waale ka". But "exciting and interesting" does not necessarily mean that a track is of good quality or has any deeper meaning or merit or creative originality about it. And that is what the CVs are lacking, and to be honest have been lacking since AnSh's marriage. It is painfully evident that they did not plan ahead in terms of how the plot would progress after the grand nuptials, since it was after this that the lack of direction started. The replacement only served to make the cracks that were starting to appear all the more evident. So yeah... the CVs still REALLY need to get their act together, and I think after all these months of them not having it together, that probably won't happen again in whatever remains of the show's run. And hence I don't reckon this massive upwards shift in TRPs will last now that the "ZOMG WILL DADISA AND CO. BE BURNED ALIVE" sensationalism has passed.

In terms of the actors... I personally cannot bear to watch Toral on screen. I tried numerous times to watch BV after the replacement and every time I saw Toral, I felt physical pain. I couldn't bear to see Shiv with a woman who was so blatantly not Anandi to me in mannerisms, looks, quirks, character, anything. It may sound silly, but I felt betrayed on so many levels. Of course the supporting cast are amazing and deserve plenty of accolades, but frankly, I watched the show primarily for Prats' Anandi, and once that was gone, everything else in the show kind of lost meaning and lustre for me. But of course veterans like Surekha ji and Anup Soni should be applauded for their endless good work and consistency, as should the younger lot like Sriti and Shashank (ESPECIALLY Shashank 😳). Indeed, it is the dedicated supporting cast who are now keeping this show afloat, since they all are far better than the actress who is supposed to be playing the centrepoint of the entire plot. So kudos to all of them, but no kudos to the CVs... at least not from my side.

What ever your opinion is .. thats always respected, at the same time the emotions of other members need to be put in consideration as well.

When people used to call Pratz names I hated that.. and I do not like People calling the current A names.

Rest well.. its your opinion.. and to compare a show with a real person...thats kinda stretching it.

@Aakash - actors nowadays are replaced within a span of 1 month too...here we are talking about 3 years- whether it was a replacement or she quit herself, I and u will never know...we all have our sources to quote, but who will validate whether what they are saying is true, apart from the people actually involved in the whole damn thing??..and I dont want to get into the speculative discussions - the forum has been through it again and again and again...i have my POV on what might have happened <<which seem to have been sealed with a recent interview I read>>, u have yours and v will never agree on each other's POV ever...so lets leave it at that...

Years ago, there was one PH pretty much ruling the whole damn TV industry...today its a corporate sector in its own...actor is not bigger than a show...and replacements are not restricted to this PH alone...this is the first time this PH has been blamed and ripped apart for a replacement as far as I know...

On the director of this show, this is the only guy who seems to have made a mark as a director in TV industry...I havent heard of anyone else apart from the ex-director of BV...says something about that guy doesnt it??!! ...when did the transition happen from Sidharth to PY, I am not sure...He was there from the first day of P, Shanky, Anjum, Sid to train them...validated by all of them...I have more respect for him bringing out the best in the four...I dont care if people want him sacked and think he doesnt deserve any merit...

@akash,who acts from the beginning of the daily soap he is called the lead who joins after 4 years he is called parallel lead because he is given as much importance as the lead.If jagya would have been out of the show even then shiv would have been called new lead.But as jagya is not just a character,he is the male lead so cvs are bound to weave story arround him.

Balika vadhu pe gussa hum e 3 saal se hai,aur aab bhi hai kyunki shashank is not getting proper screen space.Aapke liye ye show feb this year khatam hui hai but for me it was the end of balika vadhu when cvs separated a lovely couple and on top of that show adultery as the root cause of breaking that couple.Ekto favourite jodi ko tutte hue dekho,upar se jagya ko kisi aur se romance karte hue dekho,anandi ko rote hue dekho,forum pe aao to constant bashing posts of jagya padho,uske baad dekho ek naya character is introduced, then see jagya is negative,then out of montage and then vanished for full one month and the list is pretty big.But jo bhi ho shashank was not fed up with the jumping attitude of jagya character and he sticked to it.This show has mr.shashank vyas thats enough for me to watch it.

I remember when prats was there and trp used to come every thursday some member used to say all the trp is for ansh,only because of ansh,I asked why giving the credit to only a couple but I had to read comment nobody is saying trps are for ansh though the member herself knows that they are saying or kaun dekhega ye show ansh ke bina,jagya ko kaun dekhna chahta hai,jagya ganga ko kaun dekhega,kind of hurting comments,jaise ki hum jo ansh ke liye nehin dekhte unki koi kadar hi nehin,it used to hurt so much because after a long wait we jagya fans got jagya back,the way we wanted.We waited three long years to watch jagya the way he is today.I am happy after a long time bv bounced back and is on no 2 position and the track was on singhs,the pillar of the show.
