Ya but if something bad is posted about her it will close but after long time. I am not bitter or saying something that's not true. These are the facts. But believe me there were lot of topics before saying things about pratyusha. If you have time and energy then you should go back and look in the pages few months ago. I am not denying that people said bad things about toral but pratyusha who gave 3 years and amazing performances was bashed like anything too.

Ya agreed with u 😆 the I lot more to life. I am not very active but there are some that both me sometimes. I think everyone has opinions and can't help but let other people know 😆

@Sia: Was the "why do people constantly criticise Toral in every post" comment directed at me? Just wondering, because it came right after you'd indirectly responded to another bit of my earlier post. Just to clarify, I only brought Toral up in that post, because I believe that the TRPs dipped largely because of her poor acting highlighting the weakening storyline. I touched upon her looks because I feel like her looks do not match that of the Anandi I knew and loved for so many years. Like they are not even remotely similar. I am way more concerned about her inability to emote effectively and get into the skin of her character... but the complete change of look and build from P to T certainly didn't help smoothen the transition. I don't support calling anyone abusive names or outright trashing their looks simply because that is distasteful behaviour... my comments about her looks are always made purely with the intention of drawing into question her suitability as a replacement for P.

I was away from the AT during the drama period others are referring to (and was never particularly active/deeply involved in it anyway), so my criticism of Toral is not politically motivated. It is simply because I feel like her inability to play her role has rudely wrenched me away from my all-time favourite character of Indian TV. I have to say that I'm a little offended that you seem to imply that criticism of her is somehow wrong or should be toned down. I personally have strong feelings about her unsuitability as a replacement for Anandi, and those feelings tend to come out in the context of various other posts... I do always make every effort to express myself in a reasonable fashion, though, and so I'm disappointed at being seen as over-critical...

All that said... if I in fact completely mirsread th tone of your initial post, I sincerely apologise! It's 4:30 am here... not too conducive to seeing things clearly!

I would just like to say that ppl criticize Toral bcoz they loved Anandi and AnSh.They loved a place known as the AnSh AT.It was really sad the way things shaped up on the very first day of the news of replacement.Ppl who were still trying to digest the news were ordered "not to flood the AT with their tears"🤢...on the very first day it was said that its good now anandis sarees wud fit better.To add to it ppl were shown the way to a separate thread and not to spoil the mood of the AT.And mind u all this happened on the first day of the news breaking itself.On the first epi some ppl were going gaga over the new actress as if P never existed.She was accused of ditching BV.statements like "jis thali mein khate hain usmein ched krte hain" were made.the anger the hatred u see on this forum is not just abt replacement...its abt a new actress spoiling a couple...its abt ppl raving falsely abt an incompetent actress just 2 prove their point...its abt pratyusha being treated by ppl as if she never existed...its abt being made to feel that if u cnt praise toral u cant enter the ansh at irrespective of how good friendship was there...its abt some new ppl coming and adding oil to fire...ppl who didnt hv the damn audacity to enter our AT when ansh flourished...its abt broken frnships and trusts,ITS JUST NOT ABOUT A REPLACEMENT!!And together this anger is expressed on channel(for not giving us a chance to prepare ourselves for the sudden change) and on Toral(for spoiling Anandi whom we loved dearly)

And no, I am not asking anyone to change their opinion...everyone is entitled to one...its a free country after all...just had a few gripes...that I shared coz I had not posted in the forum in a long time...the only thing I asked that should be toned down (or completely eliminated IMO) are the comments on her physical appearance and I think you agree with that. 😊

And no politics from my side too...but just that some posts here do look politically motivated. I, like you, missed out on the Forums activities when the replacement first happened...so I am not sure what exactly transpired but my comments today were just based on a simple observation.

And come on, don't see yourself as being over critical. Like I was telling Malika earlier, its hard being a fan these days...especially a fan of Indian Television shows and actors- given the random deaths, replacements, cancellations et al. So if you were a fan of a particular actor who got replaced- I understand how hard it can be.

I was just saying, I wish people realize that being a fan is one thing- but hurting real peoples feelings over their fandom is another. This is again, not directed at you...and not to any general fandom...but a general statement from my previous experience that I shared in this thread before. Hope there are no hard feelings. 😊
