What about orphans who have nobody?
Dont they have right to stay as friends? Is adoption necessary in such cases?

Well it's perfectly alright to stay in your friend's house, if they have welcomed you with open arms, but what do you do when your friend's mother tells you in clear words that they don't like you around.
Do you still stay there to get more humiliated, or do you think of ways to go and mend your life? Whatever choice Ganga makes will be fine, as long as she can bear it. It's her life after all.

Well a status is required. We live in a society where all rights and duties of a person are decided based on the status a person holds in the lives of the others they live with. A wife is always given more respect than a 'keep' or a second woman.

So what is G's status. Beti, bahu, J's friend or a guest? Her current level of involvement makes her appear to be Singh's bahu, but she is not.

On both counts you are wrong Missesha. do you mean to say any girl living with a family without any kind of relationship is a keep or second woman?

I never felt she was like singh's bahu. She was like a loyal maid cum friends.

at green: I was giving an example, of how status makes a difference. I did not mean to impose that to Ganga.

It is only Sumitra, not the others. Is there no value for the opinion of others in this respect? The day Sumitra tells her directly to get out, I think ganga will try to get out.

It is a derogatory insinuation even to use as an example.

I agree and apologize that I ended up using harsh words to make my point heard.

I think if sumi will cross all her limits and when it will be unbearable for ganga she will definitely leave that house. She is tolerating sumi's behaviour because she is getting so much love from other members. When the quantity of hatred will be much more than the love then she will leave the haveli for sure though she will be brought back within some days or hours. In ganga's previous house four members used to hate her and torture her even physically and she had only mannu who love her.But here only one person hates her but five other persons along with mannu love her and take care of her.So its natural sumi's taunts will not affect her much. Her previous house was her sasural but she wanted to leave that house and she had solid reasons but she has no relation with singhs but she doesn't want to leave them because she is getting so much from this house so she is doing the right thing by ignoring sumi's taunts and threats.

Give some time to cvs. They can't show everything in one episode.

ganga has no place of her own so where will she go when she leave singh house ?? suppose ganga get another house then suppose there again same problem then again ganga will leave second house phir uske baad ganga itni niraash ho jaayegi kisi ko dukh nahi pahunche kisi ki ghar mein sharan hi nahi legi sub to apne haveli mein chain se so jayenge pur ganga ka kya hoga .ganga abhi finacial secure bhi nahi hai ki woh alone rehkur life spend kur sake ek baar ganga finacial secure ho jaaye phir ganga yeh keh sakti hai aap sub ne humari bahut madad ki aap sabhi ka bahut bahut dhanywaad ab main aap pur bhojh nahi banna chahti hoon isliye main haveli chod kur jaa rahi hoon aur agar sumi rokne ki bhi koshish kare to bhi ganga haveli mein naa ruke kyonki sumitra itni selfish ho gayi ki ganga ko ratan kitna bhi harm pahunchaye pur ganga ki help mut karo

@Esha ...i can understand what you are saying but the thing is Do Singhs really need to give her legal tag to stay with them Dadisaa i guess has clearly said Ganga is like beti of the house She was even saying to Sanchi you are also like daughter of the house like Anandi and Ganga and if someone will ask from Dadisaa who is Ganga to them she will definitely say she is like Anandi to me Anandi has now which legal status with Singhs After divorce with Jagaya Anandi was staying there with which legal status nothing just she was accepted by Singhs as their daughter

For Ganga now Sumitra is only scolding her like a mother She knows the reasons why Sumi is angry with her She tried to ask Jagaya please don't risk your life for my matters but he explained to her As far as leaving house is concerned She is not sure Sumi wants her to get out of house The day she will get this hint she will leave but then again how she can leave ? Jagaya and Dadisaa will never let her go and she cannot even reveal in front of them that Sumitra wants her to get out and also she cannot leave disrespecting them What she can do Write a letter and sneak out of house in middle of night otherwise rest Singhs will never ever want her to go Dadisaa has even taken promise from her For one person she will be breaking 7 others hearts Can she do it ? NO neither it will be right She will try to win heart of that one person and this is what Ganga is doing and if she failed in winning Sumitra's heart i am sure she will try to leave taking permission from DS and Jagaya and waise bhi hearing news about Jagaya Sanchi's marriage if it is fixed i am sure Ganga will try to leave as Sanchi dislikes her to the core and Ganga knows it

Ganga is where crossing line too much interfering in Singhs personal matters ? Sumitra does not like her from the day family started comparing her with Anandi Sumitra has been cold to Ganga but Ganga did all holi preparations because she was allowed to do by them family let Ganga stay with Jagaya in hospital take care of him there now she has Dadisaa 's approval and support with her for birthday celebrations of Jagaya and Jagaya is not personal to Singhs only but a very important person to Ganga as well Yesterday she was touching his feet because of you i am being able to reach here achieving my dreams She also wish to do something special for him to thank him and also for his happiness Is she crossing line if she thinks so ?😕Dadisaa has even asked Ganga you will do all preparations of Jagaya's marriage Sumi will not like even that so Ganga should disobey Dadisaa because of Sumitra ?

I think Ganga will be forced to leave house not out of Sumitra's hatred but by guilt induced in her by Sumitra. She'll feel she is doomed and due to her an innocent family is suffering so she'll try to leave.

But Jagya will be shell shocked and in this absence he'll realise his feelings for Ganga (at least attachment and difficulty living without her and Mannu if not love). He'll give a solid thrashing to Sumitra verbally and make her feel ashamed.

The rest of the Singhs shall be shocked too and realise how they have grown attached to Ganga and Mannu and how something feels amiss without her.

Sumitra will probably realise her folly and realise how much her son and family loves Ganga. Hopefully she'll also join to find her and bring her back to house. She'll apologise to her and bring her back with Jagya (sort of like Rakesh Roshan & his mom bringing back Rekha in the film Khubsoorat).

Then they'll probably all realise that Ganga's the right girl for Jagya and help them realise and confess their feelings for each other. Happy ending! 😉

Sanchi will get repelled after Jagya's disinterest in her and rest of Singhs making weird faces at her proposal. She may keep trying again. But she'll be burnt when she sees Jagya rushed to find Ganga or help her! She'll try her tricks but hopefully her family would've seen her true colours by then and try to rein her in. Earlier she was doing all tamasha without her family knowing her intentions.

Sumitra and Bhairon should reject Sanchi politely with folded hands (if she continues her madness even after Jagya runs after Ganga to find her).

Shekhars should focus on Sanchi with war footing! Make her realise boundaries of every relation, difference between politeness and "love" and stop being hypocrite or take others' love for granted or take advantage of laad-pyar! She has grown in age. High time she grows in mental age also!!

Sumitra must have forgotten how her daughter became Mrs.Shyam. Sugna was also pregnant with her dead husband's child. And Shyam took enormous risks to give a new life to sugna instead of letting her become another asha. Shyam incurred the wrath of traditionalists, his father, his tau and also sugna's ex inlaws. At that time the cow sumitra did not think that Shyam's life has become risky and so her daughter should remain a mourning widow confined to a dark room eating satvik food etc.

And ganga is not even considered by Jagya as his would be. He is just her well wisher. Ganga could have become an ayah or even a beggar begging alms with a cute child. But she chose to live with the singhs with dadisa's blessings. She became de facto member of the family because of her loyalty and sincerity. She may have feelings for Jagya but it is not such a big crime.

What got my goat was Sumitra's behaviour with mannu. She is not a true mother but a selfish mother. She thinks of the safety of her grownup son but not such an adorable toddler. As long as my Jagya is safe, let others go to hell seems to be her new attitude.

As for as ganga becoming self sufficient and independent, it is easy to say such things but in practical life it is not that easy. A young and attractive girl with no family umbrella is an easy prey even if she is independent and working. Everyday the newspapers have so many incidents reported. So if ganga choses the umbrella of singhs, what is wrong with it? Ganga must also be waiting for the right time to take some decisions like leaving the singhs.

Did Ganga think of this when she ran away from Ratan's house?

Nobody is saying she should run away Singh's house because Sumi is rude to her. But at least start taking control of her own life and make plans to move out which means sit down and think carefully of finding a solution to her problem...

But she doesn't seem to have any problem. If Jagya was married to urmi's daughter or if he agrees to marry sanchi, will she stay in that haveli happily? No, she will make plans to move out.

And the funniest part will even those viewers who are happy with ganga living in haveli will want her to move out as soon as possible...
