This is great news.
Hope other villages also start to slowly yet steadily follow this example.

👏 SUSH Iam very happy to hear that, whenever I was there I advise them to see this serial. MAA TV is telecasting this ..CHINNARI PELLI KUTURU...just now Jag started flirting with Gouri.Though its painful to watch MY PRANANDI suffering...I ..m watching it for her great action . I feel its an honour to watch her. I put PRATS action at par with Suchitra sen, Meenakumari and Mahanati Savitri. Now is there any thing to learn fromBV? 😡

It is not easy stop bal vivah and it happens openly till date. I agree with you @libsrocks, maids etc. still get their kids married early and if anyone objects or complains the whole society of theirs is there with lathis to attack.

It's too much of a menace and police does nothing to stop it. 🤢

Lot of courage is needed...

Happy to read some proper news and positive topic in this forum after ages. Thanks TM! 😊

i agree, the maid(age 34) who works in our neighbour's house has grand children .I was like what!!! 😲 Great change is seen in villages, i don't when but there was an article about a sarpanch in tamilnadu who has set a trend in village development. The vilaage has 100% literacy ,no child marraiges, old ppl who are abandoned by their own children are taken care off, engineers look after roads and water supply, students pursuing MBBS are alloted in duty of checking nutrition of a selected family to checkout malnutrition..there are no beggars everyone try to do work to earn money...I don't know which state it is but the village uses bio -gas plant for power supply. But sadly these news are not highlighted in media these days they are much interested in gossips and other stuffs..,
