i don't want to be negative but it's not so easy to stop bal vivah as they show it in BV...my maid has got both her children married at early age...her bahu is just 17 but pregnant and her daughter gave birth to her first child at the age of 16...i was shocked and even told her off for this but she said she fully supports bal vivah and even i was not able to say anything further...when i told my mother that this matter should be complained that she said that it's not so easy because she is not alone in her area and their must be more like her who fully support this tradition and she told me of an incident where a senior officer got killed because he and some policemen tried to stop the bal vivah in their district...the people just took out their lathis and started hitting all of them and she tell me that even police mostly don't object for such things because they themselves follow such traditions.
