She is not maintaining a respectful formality even after that Holi incident? Is this how a woman behaves?

Can u please translate that dialogue to english? In the update it just says that ganga tried to ease him from discomfort.

@ Asru: the dialogue was: She says to J' if you like the tea then you should also take the opportunity to express it. This way the one who has made it also feels good'

I interpreted this as a way to lighten the awkward situation. I don't think she was flirting or fishing for compliments. She was just putting him at ease so that the 2 do not have to keep facing awkward moments always.

If this is called filrting then can someon please explain to me what is it called when anandi invited shiv into the home alone and no one else at home. He also came into the bedroom to take clothes and a long eye lock from both of them, shiv also in the kitchen when anandi making bajias.. Anandi massaging parayamard head...there are a lot of scenes like that., what are those called ??
Just because of the TMs hatred towards some characters he/ she is making these posts.

Agree with you. I thought she was just chit chatting to ease the awkwardness.
@skepblun, according to the prevailing moral standards in BV world, I think, Ganga's behavior was OK.😊. Sometimes, I also feel that certain things are shown in a different way than in a real orthodox setup. But I guess, thats the liberty they take with fiction. For example
1. Anandi going alone to Mumabi(I think Makkan Kakka was with her) to celebrate Jagya's birthday. Do any conservative family send young DIL with a house help alone to a big city??
2. DS sending Anandi with food to Shiv at night. In villages, people will think thrice before sending a female member alone outside at night.
3. Jagya and Ganga entry scene. Jagya touched Ganga's shoulders while taking her to Badi Haveli. I felt it very strange. Even couples shy away from touches in front of the family!! Here Jagya is taking a stranger home!
But then, I don't have problems with any of these scenes, because I brush aside the reality part and focus on the emotions and intentions. In a way, it is good that BV is showing lots of openeness. In BV land they are ok with open talks , night visits and male-female friendship.😊

I love Ganga's character too. And at this point even more than Anandi.

I understand she is different, bold and a positive person who does not hesitate to speak the truth. She is quite expressive too. And after a lifetime of abuse and subjugation she has seen happiness, respect and freedom for the first time in her life. So maybe she is excited and opening up.

But we were debating about limits and maryada of Jagya and Singhs as per Indian culture and specifically that conservative village background they belong to. So why not talk about Ganga? Is she remaining in her maryada while interacting with a paraya mard?

I would have thrashed Jaggu for such talks with Ganga thinking he is pucca Gopiyon Ka Kanha.

The chai dialogue really got me thinking about Ganga's behaviour to whether it was appropriate in her position and in the milieu she is in.

hmmm... I dont know perhaps you are right. But like I think.. cause of the weirdos ... Sanchi and Gauri types.. Ganga is a fresh change.

so mujhe usmay koi kami nazar nahi aathi LOL hehehehe

Thank You Esha!

For a sec i really wondered if she said something which she shouldn't! I would take it as her way of forgiving J and making peace with him after she out rightly expressed her anguish over the matter.

EXCUSE ME! I have already clarified I do not hate either J or G. In fact in my response to Suchi I said I liked Ganga more than Anandi! So stop calling me a hater!

Such responses are really unwarranted! Please respond to the topic at hand and feel free to disagree with me as vehemently as you wish to. But you and some others kindly quit this so called labeling of the "TM" as a fan or hater or having some agenda against a character!

The rest I'd surely respond to the debate but the battery of my mobile's giving away and I do not have other source to connect online and post in the forum. So please excuse me for now.

But I spoke up here only for this labelling being done! This is one allegation which I feel is unwarraed and I am sorry but I will not take it lying down. For God's sake! Stop this TM's a hater thing!

I second you, you have voiced all my doubts in the post. Generally women, rural/urban maintain some distance from opposite gender which I hardly seen in ganga. She dont need to be hesitant always but her interaction with J n Singhs is inappropriate from the place she is. Yesterday's tea dialogue seemed more like open flirting than normal interaction. After holi, I haven't expected this from ganga, atleast know she should wake up from deep slumber, that she is not singhs friend or relative; she was rescued by J and took shelter in his house (later singh's insisted her to stay). Being an outsider her lectures n free advises are irritating, however true her words might be

As some one mentioned, this is a serial and art. The producers can take some liberties.
Ganga may e firting( which is superfine with me) , but she said that mainly for truce. Basically to make J feel at ease with her. Nothing has changed bet them after the hugging incident. It shows lot of guts
And straight forwardness in Ganga.
May be she has some feelings for J. It is natural to fall for a person who is your saviour. I have a
feeling J also is falling in love with G and he is not aware of it. It is exactly like Anandi in love with
Shiv but did not realize it until recently.
So far J's relationship with G has been extremely decent , caring and respectful. Just because he
Left A for G, does not make him a womanizer or a weak character when it comes to women in
In general..Sure he is weak when it comes to A and not any woman on the earth.
That is why he has no thoughts about Gauri.
It is surprizing how people are twisting and turning his character and trashing him for an
Indiscretion he made under the influence of bung.
