Why is anandi still calling shiv as collector Saab. It is very weird. What is the point? It cannot be that she has been taught not to take her husbands name as she has called jagdeesh by his pet name jagya all her life and continues to do so in front of shiv with no hesitation. I hope they move on off this collector Saab and thank you mode of anandi because it's boring. Enough.

Same,I want anandi to call him by his name, collector saab is very formal. Another one I hate ajee getting flash backs of her past with j. I hate it to the core. I dont want that rubbish again and again. We've had enough of it. 😡

She was taught not to take her husband's name by Dadisa. Dadisa had said dont call ur beend by your name and say Aaap when she was little.

But she cheated 😆 and it became a habit. And little J used to get angry when she called him aap a few times and told her call me "tu" as u do always when u r not in front of Dadisa.

Even if Anandi calls Shiv by his name later she will; probably call him Collector Sahab in front of Shekhars and Singhs.

Its just that she's comfy with CS...since she's met him she has called him that only. Even in modern cities...in family like ours...wives dont call husbands by their name.Its no big deal.She will start calling him Shiv as and when she feels comfortable.

Actually Collector,Distrct Magistrate and District Commissioner are different titles for the SAME one post so she can call him that even now! Does she have a limited vocabulary,you think?!
