Shiv is a sensible man with strong principles. But, I don't think he has ever known been a "victim"...so, how can he fully understand Anandi? Sympathy and admiration is not the same as Empathy. And empathy can only come from walking a few steps in her shoes! Anandi got rejected after giving all (heart, soul, and body) to Jagiya for almost two decades (17 years). If Shiv can't take this little "rejection" after knowing Anandi for a few weeks/months then he would not be Anandi's Mr.Right. He and the audience jumping down on Anandi today need to reflect on this. We are wondering about how hard it will be for Shiv to interact with Anandi post-rejection. Anandi had to put up with Jogiya having his suhaag raat down the hall. Shiv's dard comparatively is mosquito bite to Anandi's snake bite.

Yes. He hasn't done any wrong per se, but what right has he done? Why should Anandi trust him on a personal level with her heart and her future? He has yet to earn that trust. And he has yet to fully grasp her pain. He doesn't even grasp Ashi - who is his "friend". If he wants an exceptional woman with her own identity then he needs to work on winning her personal trust, healing her hurts, and correcting her misconceptions about his reasons for accepting Daadisa's proposal.

So, my advice to Shivraj Shekhar...if you want an exceptional dulhaan then roll up your sleeves and show her you are a worthy dulha... stop riding on Daadisa's anchal!
