Ishita finalized for Anandi?

Ishita Panchal who has now become very popular as Tapasya of Uttaran (Colors) says she was finalised to portray the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu. Surprisingly, she is not at all regretful for this fact.

On screen Tapasya says, "I was finalized for Balika but I couldn't do it for certain reasons. But I am okay with that. If I was playing Anandi in Balika, I wouldn't have got to play Tapasya in Uttaran. So basically I am very happy playing Tapasya and have no regrets at all."

"I also gave auditions and was even selected. But at that time, I was doing Rama, The Saviour with Tanushree Dutta and Saahil Khan. Since I was busy shooting for that movie, I couldn't say 'yes' to Balika."

Rama, the Saviour which was released last year was directed by Hadi Ali Abrar and produced by Abdul Aziz Baroodgar. Apart from Tanushree Dutta and Saahil Khan, WWE wrestler Khali was also a part of the film.

The eleven year old Ishita tells us that though she might have missed being known as Balika Vadhu of the small screen, that doesn't stop her from being an ardent fan of the show. She tells us, "I love watching Balika Vadhu and I watch it when ever I have time. Avika who plays Anandi is very sweet. I simply love her innocence and the way she fights with Jagdish is so cute."

Had this little gal been in the picture, we would have seen her as Anandi in Balika Vadhu fooling around with Jagdish.

High point of Balika Vadhu

Balika Vadhu has proved it self by being in the top position of the TRP's charts. With its twist in the tale, the show has managed to glue the audience on their TV sets. Well another twist follows with the love track between Sughna (Vibha) and Shyam (Vikrant).

As per the sources, "Taisa (Neha) of Sughna helps her and Shyam to come closer. Ghena assist the secret meetings of the two as she wants Sughna to settle down with her life after the death of Pratap."

In the coming episodes another track between Ghena and her hubby Vasant will be the highlight. "Vasant is feeling jealous as Ghena takes good care of her guruji who preaches her singing. Though he doesn't realise that this will bring Ghena and him much closer to each other," adds the source.

The rapport of Sughna and Shyam will not be accepted by Dadisa. "The day she comes to know of what all three is doing behind her back, she will not spare them," concludes the source.

So keep glued to your screen with the high emotional drama.

Single and ready to mingle: Neha Marda

The cute and quite Ghena aka Neha Marda had tasted the fame of this glamourous industry. The actress has been working hard but now she needs a special company. She is nagging of being single for a long time and thus is looking out for a suitable partner for herself.

"Its been long that I have been single but now I don't want to be anymore. I know with two shows in my kitty I have less time to focus on love but I want to have that special person in my life," grin's Neha.

Talking about her dream person she briefs, "He should be one who can accompany me on the sets so that I can spends some time with him. One doesn't know how it feels to be lonely."

Well Neha why are you searching when you already have someone in life. As per our khabroo from the sets of Kismat Connection, "Neha is seeing Imran Mir who is the EP of the show. They click very well with each other. Imran also takes care of her on the sets."

Neha Marda: From timid Gehna to sexy Naina

Neha Marda, the timid Gehna of Balika Vadhu, is presently seen in a completely new avatar, a hot chick, in her new show Kismet Connection on Sahara One.

Marda talks about her journey from the quiet Gehna to the charming Naina, saying, "Without a doubt, there has been a lot of transformation, right from the era to the costumes to the look. In Balika, I am playing a simple village girl whereas here I am seen as a proper westernised gal in a fashion house."

Talking about the show, she tells us, "The show revolves around a fashion house and how, where and why people meet…how certain are destined to happen. It is the story about four friends and how they connect with each other. It's about how the people in a fashion house are into themselves."

The actress is very excited about carrying off a westernised look. She says, "As the show is about a fashion house, the look varies. Hence I am seen in a variety of dresses and fresh getup every time. The look is soft and lovely."

Though Marda says there are many similarities that she shares with her character, there is one major difference too. She tells us, "Naina is pretty much 'Neha', she's very impromptu and hence I am enjoying the role. She's very lively, charming and a jovial girl just like me but the only difference is that Naina has a fianc. Neha is still looking for a fianc! (Laughs)"

Kismet Connection premiered yesterday and will air every Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on Sahara One.

About the character: Anandi, played by Avika Gor, is seen playing the wife of Jagdish (Avinash Mukherjee). The show is set against the backdrop of rural Rajasthan, where child marriage is still common practice. Anandi is a young girl who becomes a victim. She is a minor and due to this, is very innocent. She works hard to overcome her difficulties and take on the responsibilities of being a wife.

Then, you're on the wrong track ... . She is getting married as Suguna... yes, Balika Vadhu's most popular beti Suguna is all set to marry Shyam, being played by Vikrant Massey. The on-going episodes are showing us how they both mould their families towards their decision. Asked how she felt about this major twist in Suguna's life, Vibha says "I'm pretty excited as frankly speaking I had got bored of those white saris. Rahoul Lohani talks about his private affair

After being in a relationship for one and a half years, Rahoul Lohani (Mayank of Kyunki) is finally getting married on July 1st to his lady love Meghna Chitalia. He talks to Indya about it.

"I am getting married on the 1st to Meghna. We've known each other for the past three years and have been in relationship for one and half years," says Rahoul.

Rahoul tells us about his lady love, "She owns an event management company called 'Party Planet'. She is a Gujarati and because of this, initially convincing our parents became a really difficult issue. I hail from Uttaranchal, hence my family is pretty conservative. Although I've been really lucky because from her side, there was not much of a problem."

Lohani says that the wedding will take place in a very simple way. He tells us, "I am from Uttaranchal and she is a Gujju but the marriage will take place in a very simple way. It will take place in Mumbai only. First, we'll go for court marriage and then it will be a simple marriage in an Arya Samaj way."

The list of invitees too seems to be small as the actor tells us, "It will be a very private affair with only the families and few of my very close friends. This will include Sharad and Kirti Kelkar, Manav and Shweta Gohil, Mohit, Sudeep and Anantika Sahir and Manav Vij. For my rest of the industry friends, I will throw a party for them later where my entire team of Balika, Kyunki, Mohe Rang De will be invited."

Ask about his honeymoon plans, the actor informs, "We will be flying to Bangkok on the 3rd. Our friends Sharad and Kirti suggested us for this place and the wonderful part is that they will be giving us company. On this occasion, I want to gift Meghna something in diamond but she is also very fond of travelling, hence I am confused between the two things."
