In fact I had withdrawal symptoms over the weekend throughout the year.
Now to not have it at all will be very hard to take.
Also the abruptness of it made it feel like a downright betrayal.
It was a kind of masterpiece sketching of a character like DV,
his Deewange, his junoon was unprecedented in TV history.
His get 'what I want at any cost' will always stay with the viewers.
That is not to say that the serial didn't have track which went at a tangent.
They also did not know how to handle Amoli's angle well. So went back and forth
on it and weakend the story.
After showing such a complex character who doesn't know how to compromise
on something that he wants from the bottom of his heart it was hard to see that PH went
on the goody-goody route and started trying to be a judge.
The PH should have known that there is always collateral damage when you go all out
to get something you want really really want badly. They should have put forward a bolder
version after DV-Amoli's marriage. Till then the story was consistent. Even after that it was ok soon the story went south and Amoli landed up being shown as this person who can't tell good from bad even if it hit her on the head........and she is out there to take revenge.
They really had a great idea and carried it very well with some absolutely great actors.
Oh well...alas. IF had the greatest team which added some of the greatest funniest comments
and some great in depth analysis that added another dimension to the whole show.
Now it is just a formality as to how the show ends.
Some nasty in-house politics culled the show.
Adios, my friends, each and eveyone of you....i just absolutely enjoyed myself the last year.
Adios to Sharad & Supriya...that was some acting you guys did and we got to see.
Adios to S. Latkar for some memorable dialogues.
