Chandana is never been shown 2 b his adopted daughter rather he has been taking care of her like father but tht doesn't make him her father.

Problem with DV's character is tht he is a bad person by nature , so how can u expect him to act like usual lover---- sacrificing 4 his lady love's happines. He was an extremely proud and self centered man who's priorties changed after he came across amoli. He is facing a strong inner conflict between his desire and his nature.
