With last night's episode, I really like how it has opened up the space for growth and change in Ram's character. More than the realization of his love for Priya, I think the realization that he has not been the husband she deserved was accurate and very necessary. I won't say Ram has been completely terrible, he really has been the one who was more open and accepting of this relationship. In lots of ways, him embracing this marriage as a real one was a big part of Priya also recognizing this marriage was not one of just convenience, but one that actually mattered. He has shown his care, his concern and his respect for her in several ways as well ❤️
But Ram being continuously manipulated by his family has remained a huge issue throughout. Ram really struggles to trust Priya when his family add fuel to the fire, and this is despite him knowing she has a good heart and honest intentions, that she would never do anything to knowingly hurt him or his loved ones. Part of it is understandable given Ram has been with his family for 30+ years, so being married a few months is not going to change how he views his family, but now with being so close to losing Priya, at least his dimaag ki batti has been lit and he recognizes how much he has contributed to Priya's pain 💔
I wish the track ahead shows Ram taking initiative with trying to track what the truth behind the whole Anjali situation is. If he can find out the truth himself and then clear Akki and the Sood's of any guilt, that would not only prove to Priya that he cares for her but also that he is willing to listen to her as well. He loves her, there is no doubt in that, but he needs to trust her as well because at the end of the day, if he keeps being manipulated by his family, his relationship with Priya will always be one where there is doubt, misunderstanding and unnecessary fights 😔
Baaki this man is adorable as hell as he carries around the coupons his wife gave him everywhere like he is carrying a piece of her with him always ❤️...Bas thoda more trust in Priya and the chance to redeem himself for the more recent faltering in his behaviour, and I think they really could show Ram changing for the better. Nakuul anyways is a good actor, toh much better scope for him to perform and show another aspect to Ram!
