Writers are going overboard with quite a few things ! (Added, pg6)

BALH2 has got an interesting premise and looks super promising but there are a few things in which the creatives are going overboard. -

1. Ram's love for Vedika, and him crying at the drop of a hat whenever he is thinking about his "Vedu". I mean this is getting a hit irritating now. I would like the makers to not make Ram cry so much..

2. Priya's father is too negative a character which seems unreal. His hatred for Priya and her sisters and mother is a bit too much.

3. Ram's gang of friends. Is it just me or does anyone else feel that there is too much crowd around Ram all the time? I mean jahan bhi jaata hai uske saath humesha uske saare friends rehte hain.. He is a freaking 38 year old man , not a college goer who always has a gang of friends with him. I wish in the subsequent epis the writers remove some of his friends as it doesn't look nice seeing all of them flock around him all the time.. unka aur koi kaam bhi toh hoga 🤷‍♀️

4. The BGM of KHNH. It is getting annoying now. Plz CVs if you are reading this, stop with this tune now. Bring a fresh tune into the show plz.

For now I feel these are the points where the writers are goign overboard. Feel free to add more points which you feel are unnecessary in the show.

Edit- After one month of the show , the above points seem to be much less of a bother than the new ones which have cropped up. 🤡

1. I don't mind Ram crying over Vedika, but when he seems to have this sort of tunnel vision regarding her I kinda' wanna punch him in the face because this whole idea of putting this one person before everyone else in your life, despite the fact that you know they would never do the same (even though I do think that Vedika cares about him) is incredibly infuriating. I sort of go in-between feeling sorry for him and just being like, 'DUDE, it's been yearssssss, she's married, get over her already'.

2. Priya's father is very annoying, I am so over the misogynistic father with this desperate need for a son trope, enough already. Neeraj alone would've been a good enough reason for Priya to hate men, we did not need her father as well. And also, there are more subtle ways for a character like this to be written/portrayed, I am so sick of this man and his yelling.

3. They're good comic relief, I'll give them that. However, I think just Adi and Brinda alone would've been fine. Also, Utkarsh looks like he can be one of their kids and I refuse to believe that this teenager is friends with them.

His one sided love for her is annoying. Move on!!

Why couldn't they show the father similar to zgh. Fine he could resent Priya and her sisters for wasting his time or whatever but this yelling and coming to a restaurant to shame her is way to OTT. I would rather he just keeps his distance from them and wants nothing to do with them.

Haan na. They can show one or two friends at a time. At least we see Adi's wife and Kunaal is single. What about that other married friend? They should have other things to do with their families now.

This is the worst part. Even if sometimes I want to feel bad for him the bgm doesn't let me. I just end up getting annoyed. Play it less often. Just show some scenes where people are sad and there is no bgm

5. I also feel like Ram's eating is being exaggerated. Loving food and eating a lot is fine but the amount of food he is eating is that of profession athletes which he clearly isn't. Eating so much junk food is asking for health problems even if you don't gain weight.

6. I find the vegan dialogues from the beginning and the date very weird. The one where he was amused by his sister's double standards was funny. The dates seemed like caricatures but such people do exist so I'm kind of ok but Priya's date was too bad.

7. Priya. As much as I love her, they go overboard with her at times. Being bitter doesn't mean you disrespect people all the time, her being rude to Ram in the initial episode was a funny scene but at that point he was just a customer and after that also she has been rude to men and rich people. I get being wary and keeping a distance but you can't be that disrespectful. Reminds me of Kashaf.

1. I completely agree with this. I really like Ram’s character but there is one thing I find really annoying. His Vedu Jaap. First 2-3 epi ke liye it was fine ke how he is a nice guy didnt forget his first love done things for her etc but now its too much! Now I get why his friends r soo annoyed with this too! From what I understood, Vedu is more of a white-grey character. Vedu track can be handled in either a very good way or a very bad way, this is totally up to Ekta.

2. The father is non-existent to me 😆 I consider him to be a stupid, useless and freeloader guy 😆

3. I actually like his friends, he has so many negative ppl in his family that he does need some positive ppl around him so I m okay with them. I feel that kunal and that twinkle’s husband(forgot his name) wont be much shown after ran gets married. And adi-vrinda will be supportive character i guess, i think adi and priya will be great friends after Ram-Priya gets married.

They kept that twinkle’s husband for more priya n ram’s nok-jhok when twinkle n her husband’s divorce proceeding is going on(i think the divorce wont happen eventually, priya n ram will unite them 😆) and kunal for the crush on priya thing 😆 Kunal looks soo young he does seem to be a misfit in the group,

Kunal and Priya pairing is like Shinchan and Neneko Didi 😆(not saying Priya looks too old, its that Kunal looks like a kid, he will match better with Priya’s youngest sister 😆)

4. i think i m the only one who likes this background 😆(probably cause i loved the movie so much thats why) But it’s such a misfit for Ram n Vedu’s scenes 1-2 epi ke liya thik tha but not anymore, if they probably added this BG for Ram-Priya scenes instead of Ram-Vedu scene maybe it wont have been that annoying

I keep getting distracted by the colours of the suits that ram and his competitor wears. is it just me but shashi seems stuck with wearing mustard suits? why? 😆 but in terms of overboard, it is the whole shashi jealously track. fella is married to some chica for years and he is still competing with her ex. he is just as bad as ram crying over the drop of a hat whenever he thinks of 'vedu'.

5. Yeah, being a foodie is one thing, but they're basically making it a personality trait at this point which like, writing 101 - your characters' likes/dislikes should not be used as in place of actual mannerisms and quirks.

6. Okay, not gonna lie, I've been guilty of writing a bad date like Priya's a very long time ago because I just didn't know any better, but you're absolutely right! They could've have shown them being "bad dates" in other ways like honestly, Priya's date checking out other girls is enough of a turn-off, they should've left it at that and it would've been fine, his whole tangent was so cringey (also, I did not like that actor's delivery). This could've also been an opportunity to show Ram and Priya's turn-offs/dislikes (i.e. I think Ram is not too fond of people that are super judgmental and they could've easily shown that with one remark that the date made rather than delving into her eating habits like, come on, people are a little more complex than that, even if they are on screen for less than five minutes).

7. I agree, I adore Priya but sometimes she's so quick to snap. She actually reminds me of Sai from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein in that way because 9/10 times I'm on her side, but that one time when she's going off at someone and I'm a little like, 'okay, I love you but please chill'.

Literally, any other song would work! But also if they don't have the budget for a Bollywood song, why don't they use a song by an independent artist? There are so many beautiful songs out there and none of the shows on Tellywood take advantage of that. If someone plays Dil Ibadat or Tujko Jo Paya again, I will scream!

I'm just like, Shashi, buddy, you are married to this beautiful, kind-hearted woman who has stuck around your shady nonsense for years and is probably out of your league, why would you actively do things that you know are gonna drive her away? Good for Vedika I guess, she has a new reason each to add to why she should leave this man. 😆
