Oh one more thing that is Over the top...Priya hasn't met a single good man in her life so far..

I mean, ok, I get it...the society, in general, is misogynistic...doesn't mean all men are pure bad or evil...there are shades of bad and there are also some good men for sure around any woman..and most of the misogyny is not out-and-out I hate women kind-of misogyny...but in this show...All men in Priya's life have been bad:

1. Father: Pure evil (Abandons wife and daughters to have a son and now creates problems for them)

2: Neeraj: Borderline evil (Abandons Priya and marries her sister)

3. Twinkle's husband/Ram's friend: A cheater, egoistic person

4. Sara's husband: Is at home all the time and doesn't do anything while Sara takes care of everything. (And why is Sara with them all the time btw? Does she also live there?)

5. Blind date: Turns out to be a douchebag who only wants slim, good looking wife..

And honestly, Akki is also not some really great guy either even though Priya believes him to be..

I mean HOWW?? What are the chances in real life of that happening? Can't they show at least 1 good man around Priya?

I went on a binge-watching session with this show and then started watching old episodes from the OG BALG. I have to say though that I like this Ram much better as a character at this point. The emotions can be a bit overboard but I think there is something so raw about this character that makes me like him more.

Also yes his feelings for Vedika are a bit unrealistic but at some point, I think he is kind of in love with this idea of having one-sided emotions. Like he has fantasized about this aspect of being a sacrificial lover so much that it has become a part of his personality and it's like he chooses NOT to move on. This comes from his personality to always see the optimism and positive aspect of things. Like he does not even notice the fakeness of his family.

In terms of Priya, I get her anger. Again I think it does go overboard but its like her sister/ex-boyfriend and father's betrayal has just filled her with so much anger and negativity that she is always suspicious. LIke she is the person to who you have to continuously prove your loyalty and love.

Maybe that's the thing about both these characters, his over-the-top sentimentality meets her over-the-top anger and they balance each other out.

Though I might be giving too much credit to the makers at this point to believe they actually thought of all these aspects..

I hope this show is a limited episode show which doesn't go down the drain like original one did.

I said this before but I am just so thankful for such an emotional ML I will forgive almost anything. Lets be honest 95% of ML and ML/FL relationships are super toxic. Even the most loved ITV partners are imperfect at best and straight up abusive at their worst.

I will take Ram's rono anyday☺️. The only thing I haven't liked was that the last time he cried was only because he saw Vedika with Shashi (idk husbands name too well). That felt weird because it wasn't natural as he saw them for 5 seconds and wiped a tear away in the next second without any buildup. At least the days of the engagement it made sense as Vedu and her husband were all over each other and it was also a very grand relationship milestone for his sister.

I am always on Priyas strong FL side too. But in the most recent episode where she yells at ram about being 32 was a bit weird. It was fine that she mentioned it once or even twice. But i swear she mentioned it like 4 times and that was too OTT for me. It's clear that she herself is super insecure about her age. Everything else said was relevant and made sense.

Anyways, really hoping that even if they tone down the characters then their essence is the same. I didn't even like Ram snapping at Priya either. I know it was probably to show that Priya can make him feel things that no one else has ever made Ram feel but it still made me a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully we only see that on the rarest of occasions in the future-if at all.

Of course. In these aspects her behavior was correct. I found her a bit rude in the first episode phone call. It was a funny scene, but you don’t really talk to a customer like that, especially if they aren’t rude. Second time was on the day they met. Like her reaction was okay but let the other party speak-be it Adi, Ram or even the police. I also found it weird how she took the glass from him without letting him finish the water, I mean at that point 2 seconds would hardly make a difference.

Agree with all of thr...esp the jhund of friends they are such nakara not like they contribute anything except being crowds..

Also can they plz cut down on the ott friendliness with wih adi ki wife..all the touching hugging jaan jaan is too extra am sorry she is your friends wife..even if they are friends...some boundaries are necessary it is so so unreal and uncomfortable

After one month of the show-

• Too much drama which is getting stretched to no end.

• Ram-Sita references . Makers are going wayyyyy overboard with these!! Also they have a hanuman , lmao it's become laughable and embarassing to see.

• Priya 's simplicity is also being pushed too much into our faces. Like, atleast in her shaadi she could have been given a bit heavy jewellery and a more endowed lehenga.. I know she looks beautiful in the very simple and minimalistic avatar but this seems like a bit too much. I mean why makers want to painfully and desperately elaborate every single character trait of the people in this show?? Why don't they know subtlety?? 😡

Point 2 toh mujhe kabhi samjh nhi aayegi. Why do they always tolerate MS and his nonsense? I can understand that doormat Meera not being able to stand up against him , but what about the daughters? Except Priya none of them have guts to say anything to this man?? Why? They are all modern educated women still why do they put up him ? .

3rd point..it was only in the last epi. Here I am talking about things in the show which are repeatedly shown and pushed into our faces.

Her mom raised her kids and yet acts so weak. The hall wasn't ready and she didn't try to get it ready for pri. Sandy was the one who came up with a plan along with akki meanwhile mom was busy in crying and wondering agar tumhare papa hote...he's not there and he hasn't been for many yrs before that. Pretty sure he wasn't there for sara or the other sis (who eloped) why cry over him?

And when he did come she had such a blank expression. No relief or shock.

Priya hardly seemed like a dulhan.. also there were no guests , only the few family members in the shaadi? Like, a total of what, 15 people? And they were getting all worried inko kahan pe bithayenge? 🤪 As a matter of fact koi baith bhi nhi raha tha. Har koi idhar udhar ghoom raha tha 🐷 What kind of shitty execution is this???

Agree about Meera. Her character makes poor sense to me. I can't tolerate her somehow.
