Update 6

The sun rays peeped into his room, through the big windows and made his soft hair shine in their rays. His sweat beads seemed to sparkle like diamonds glistening over him due to the morning rays. He was in his white vest, which clung perfectly to his muscular chest and torso, with a matching white track pant. He was breathing heavily and sweating badly as he ran on his treadmill. He had no idea that doing exercise after a small gap would become so difficult. It was only ten minutes he had started, he found himself panting hard. Reducing the speed now and then, he finally finished his workout and went to the balcony in his room. It seemed to be sunny, but he liked the weather. He remembered how Priya was uncomfortable with cold and silently thanked god for sending the sun today to keep her warm when he couldn't. "good morning Priya" he said looking at the sun, which was fully risen now. "Destiny just makes two people meet, but it's the heart that has to decide, the position we give for the person in our life" saying he ran his hand through his wet hair. He was still sweating. "Now, finally found what my destiny is, just to love her alone, to make her happy, and to do nothing which will contradict her wishes" he nodded saying this to himself. He somehow felt empty when she was not with him. Leaving from the balcony, he picked his phone and settled in his bed. He dialled Kate's number.

"sorry this is a wrong number I guess?" her angry voice came from the other side. "Listen, listen dear, I am really sorry ok, please forgive your dearest friend will you?" he asked innocently. "Idiot, zero forgiveness for you, your so bad Ram, you left your phone in home, then didn't call back when you returned, just left me a message, this is not done, I am not talking to you, you both guys are same, driving me mad" she said. "Kate, my baby, please I am sorry, you know na, I am a big fool, please this one time forgive me won't you" he pleaded "no" she said firmly "well I will get my friend her favourite chocolate box today" he said "not forgiven" she said. "okay, then she will get tow boxes" he said "no" she said "ok then three boxes, and I promise to take you somewhere outside when your free, is that done my dear?" he asked. there was a pause "mm okay, atleast you called me now" she complained. He smiled "I missed you" he said "I missed you too" she said "so, Kate, I need a help from you" he said "I guessed that's the reason you would have called to pacify me, cheater" she shouted again "kate, please" he said with the sweetest tone possible. He was able to hear her smile "ha Ram, tell me" she said "I need a nice good morning text, a lil" he stammered "A lil, what??" she asked "a lil romantic" he said scratching his temple "ahem, for who is it?" she asked "yar, just send me" he said. "I will if you tell me who it is for" she said "kate, gotta to go just send me, love you" saying he hung up. he went to fresh himself.

"hello.." Kate said as the line went blank. "this Ram is incredible, such an idiot" saying she surveyed her mobile for some nice text messages. Finding one she forwarded it to his number. after a refreshing shower, Ram came out dressed in a casual navy blue shirt and black pants. he selected a black blazer, wearing it he combed his hair and gelled it lightly making his look more sexier. He took his phone from the bed and checked the message Kate sent. He gave a smile of satisfaction and then forwarded the message to Priya. Taking a deep breath he left his room.

His granny was waiting for him in the table. He came to her and sat beside her, "so granny, what breakfast today?" he asked with a big smiled "all your favourite Ram" she said and started serving him. "gran, I can take myself, you eat now" saying he filled her plate with food. She smiled "Ram, you seems so enthusiastic today" she said. he smiled "Ha, just like that" he said and checked his mobile once. "yes, your feeling like this from when we have come back to India" she said. Ram smiled "Gran, I can easily get what your saying, now please stop teasing me" he said and peeped to see his phone once again. "Ram, are you waiting for some important call?" his gran asked "ha granny, a very important message" he said "from Priya na?" she asked. He gave her a stare "no" he said. his granny laughed "if you lie the things you say will never happen" she threatened. She sighed "yes from Priya, is that ok now?" he asked and peeped into his phone again. "She should be working Ram" his gran said "maybe your right, I have to wait" he said. His gran smiled "shall we go to hospital today?" his gran asked "granny, are you ok? Is anything wrong" his voice filled with concern. He seemed to tense up in no seconds "nothing Ram, it's a month since we did my general checkup so I asked, and you can see Priya too" she said. he calmed down a bit and smiled "your impossible, but you know what, I like this plan a lot, when shall we leave?" he asked. "after I get ready, finish you breakfast I will be back then" saying his granny got up as Ram glanced at his phone again.

Going through her patients, she came back to her cabin with a cup of coffee. She picked her phone and threw herself on the couch. She checked her calls, the wave of sadness seemed to come over her again. She went through the messages, her heart felt heavy. And then she saw his message. "Ram" she muttered and opened his message.

"this morning I send the sweetest voice of birds to wake you up

I sent the warmth of sun to reach you heart

I am doing this because you're the loveliest person I have ever met

Your someone my hear will never forgot to think every morning

Good morning Priya..!!!"

She read the message and a small smile came over her lips. "how I wish, my life never changed" she thought and closed her eyes for a while.

Ram helped his granny into the car, when his phone beeped. Nearly jumping like a mad boy he took the phone from his pocket and opened to see the message that has come.

"good morning Ram. I hope your morning is bright as your smile"

A broad grin came over his face as he read it. "Ram, what did she send" his granny asked. he nodded his head for a no and entered on the driver seat. "whatever it is, I just hope you stay happy and smiling like this forever" she said. he smiled and ignited the engine. As they drove to the hospital he looked at his granny "gran, can I ask you something?" he said. she nodded "but don't ask me how your grandpa proposed me Ram" she said. he laughed "no, I want to ask you whether my smile is really good?" he asked. she looked at him "I bet that thousand girls will fall for my grandsons smile, you have the most charming smile Ram" she said. "that's ok gran, now tell me why you don't want to tell me how grandpa proposed you" he asked. "I told you not to ask me" she said "comeon gran please, your was a love marriage right?" he asked. "it was love at first sight" she said blushing lightly "wohooo, so when did the lucky man see you" he asked "he saw me riding a bicycle once and the next day he proposed me" she said. ram looked at his grandmother "gran, a bicycle?" he asked "those days were like that Ram" she said "but still what was your reply" he asked "I haven't seen him at all, but he was a handsome man, I just drove my bicycle and went away" she said. ram laughed "this is funny" he said "then exactly three months from that we got married" she said. "why haven't you said me these before?" he asked. "well, you never asked me before, I was nearly sacred that all your love hormones have been stopped from being secreted" she said "not funny" he said. they talked until they reached the hospital.

Ram led his gran inside. He felt giddy seeing the place. He was totally lost. He made gran sit in a chair comfortably and left to find the way. The one way he knew in the hospital was to Priya's cabin. He saw Cam standing and tapped his shoulders. "hey you can you help me?" Ram asked him. cam spun around and saw Ram, he felt his legs shaking "sir, I am sorry about that day really" he stammered. Ram smiled and put a hand over his shoulder "well, I should thank you young man, now I have bought my grandma for a general checkup, can you help me this time?" he asked. cam nodded with a smile. " no problem sir, I will make sure that all are completely done" he said.

After an hour everything was done and Cam was guiding Granny out, Ram walked a little behind them looking around, hoping to get a glimpse of Priya. "Ram" his gran called "yes granny" he said "Ram, Priya works in this hospital right? I want to see her" his gran said. Ram smile "granny" he started to protest "Priya doc, she is free now, she must be in her cabin or in the paediatric ward" Cam said. Ram smiled "ok then Gran, I will fetch her" he said. he felt his heart dancing in a uncontrollable way. Cam showed him the way to the paediatric ward. Ram went to her cabin and found it empty. Then he made his way to the paediatric room. As he entered he saw Priya sitting beside a child and talking to him. no playing with him. the child seemed happy to see Priya there. they were clapping their hands and doing something. The other kids were watching both of them and smiling. she looked so angelic with the kids around her. "how much she wanted to serve her patients" he thought. each time he felt her becoming more and more attractive. Ram looked around and saw a white coat handing on the wall. Removing his blazer, he put the white coat and went near her. "new resident here" he said. she turned to see him "Ram, what are you doing here?" she asked and smiling "when did you change your profession?" she asked. he blushed and sat on the chair beside the bed "isn't it good?" he asked. she laughed "you look like " "like what?" he asked "like a business man, who wore a white coat by mistake" she said. he smiled "just wanted to wear, sorry doc" he said "it suits you" she said. he blushed "so what are you doing here?" he asked "Ram, the question I should ask you" she said. "well gran wanted a checkup, so bought her here" he said "is all ok?" she asked "yes yes, all perfect, its just that, gran wants to see you" he said "oh I am free now, that's why came to see these angels, lets go" she said. waving the kids bye she left with Ram. "so Ram, thanks for the text" she said as he removed the coat and wore his blazer. She helped him. "just, wanted to wish you a good morning" he said. she smiled at him. everytime she smiled he smiled back unknowingly. He felt so much happy when she was around. "so when are we going out again?" he asked "maybe in two days, I will message you Ram, and Kate was asking me what we did the other night" she said and smiled. "what we did?" he asked confused "I mean about the dinner" she said. Ram smiled "she is so sweet" he said. Priya nodded "yes, my sister" she said. they reached granny. Priya sat beside her. as Priya and Gran talked Ram stood seeing them both. He felt his tiny family was complete only when Priya was with them. Priya seemed to not only make him happy but also his granny.

After nice chit chat, Priya and Cam accompanied them till their car. Ram's heart felt suddenly heavy thinking that she wouldn't be coming home with them. Both Gran and he waved her bye and left.

"doc, that day he was totally different and today hes totally different" Cam asked as they made their way to the hospital. "you will know him only when you are with him, hes really sweet" Priya told him "I guess he behaves sweet only to you" Cam winked. Priya hit his hand "shut up now, we are friends" she said. Cam faked a cough "Okayyy" he dragged "now Cam, shall we eat something, else I will die" she said and they went to her cabin.

Ram and his granny were having their lunch. Both of them were so fond of eating. First it seemed to be a small meal they were going to have, then it turned out to a banquet. As they ate, Ram's phone Rang. "hey kate" he said. "hey Ram, are you free now?" she asked "yes I am, whats it?" he asked. "Ram, I need to go to the cactus nursery, can you come with me?" she asked. "what?" "Ram, I called Priya, but she is busy, you know what a girl working with me has cactus and she's too much, so I need to get myself some and shut her mouth" Kate said. Ram smiled "ok then, gran and me are out, so I will drop her and pick you, is that ok?" he asked "you're the best, thank you Ram" she said and hung up.

Ram dropped his gran and made his way to see Kate. He wanted to talk with her. this was important. Every important detail in his life, Kate has been a part of it, he wanted to share many things with her. as he reached their apartment he found her standing there waiting for him. seeing him she waved her hand. he drove the car to her and she got in. "thanks for coming Ram" she said and hugged him. he smiled "anything for you" and handed her three box of chocolates. "Ram, this is amazing, your really too good" she said as he drove the car. She gave him instructions with the way and they reached the cactus nursery.

Kate was totally confused in selecting the plant. She nearly wanted to get all and decorate their house. Ram helped her to pick a few of them "Kate, get some for the first time, then you can get others one by one" he said. she nodded. She chose the ones which would look best for decoration purposes. After an hour, both of them kept the cactus in the back seat of the car. "shall we go for coffee?" Ram asked "yes Ram, I have something to tell you" she said. he found that she wanted to tell him something important. He nodded "And I too want to tell you" he said. she nodded "I know Ram, what you want to tell me, I can understand you more than you can understand yourself" she said. "I know that" he smiled and halted the car in a caf. They got down and entered the shop.

After placing their orders Ram was looking at her waiting for her to speak. "Ram, I know that..." her phone rang with that. he looked at the caller and showed Ram. "Uff, then I think we have to cancel the coffee and go home" he said. she smiled and took the call. he waited and waited for her to finish the call. finally he dropped her home. "Ram, I really need to talk to you as soon as possible" she said as she got down the car. "me too, we wil catch up soon" he said. she nodded and waved him as he left.
